Ítem Herramienta de toma de decisión presentada en Power BI para la metodología de construcción de acueductos y alcantarillados en sectores urbanos de Bogotá D.C.(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas.) Suárez Peña, Lina Natalia; Buitrago Ariza, Jonahtan Stiven; Beltrán Fonseca, Héctor Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]The present work aims to establish a tool that facilitates the selection of the best installation alternative for new sections of aqueduct and sewer pipeline networks in the city of Bogotá. This tool is a condensation of the norms and standards established by the Bogotá Aqueduct and Sewer Company (EAAB-ESP), incorporating every criterion that must be considered to construct each type of network. Once the best installation alternative is determined, the tool provides a preliminary budget and schedule, which professionals can use as a basis to establish a pre-feasibility level for the project. This work seeks to assist professionals directly involved in the processes of installing new pipeline sections by providing an agile and resource-efficient framework for this type of project.Ítem Evaluación financiera del uso de fresado estabilizado como alternativa de mantenimiento para vías rurales en Bogotá(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Flórez Barón , Karen Daniela; Rey Chaparro , Karen Yohana; Pinzón Enciso , David Alejandro; Pineda Jaimes , Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0009-0005-3198-1248]Bogotá being one of the largest cities in the country, it is made up of urban and rural areas, which need constant maintenance on their road network to ensure efficient connection and continuous development. Because the roads in the rural sector are not as likely to transit freight vehicles, the following alternative can be explored, which consists of the use of recycled pavement as a road construction material, a material known since 1915 but with a notable boost since the crisis. of oil in the 70s. This proposal not only reduces pollution, but is also economical and provides quality and safety on the roads. A study in China on the life cycle of recycled pavement showed that, although its useful life is shorter than that of conventional pavement, its cost and low environmental impact make it ideal for certain low-traffic locations. In Bogotá, 18% of unpaved rural roads are in poor condition, and the deterioration is due in part to the lack of preventive maintenance, excessive traffic, and problems in materials and designs; This alternative is feasible to address the aforementioned problem.Ítem Identificación de las desviaciones en alcance, costo y cronograma, aplicando los lineamientos de la guía PMBOK en el estudio de caso, proyecto reserva 20 de julio etapa 1 ubicado en la ciudad de BogotáQuiroga Velásquez, Nelson Andrés; Garcáa Aravito, Andrea Katherinne; Viloria Acosta, Jeyson Enrique; Pineda Jaimes , Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes; Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]The Reserva 20 de Julio project, located in the town of San Cristóbal in the city of Bogotá, aims to provide social housing. This study analyzes the deviations in the scope, schedule and cost parameters during the first stage of construction, using the sixth edition of the PMBOK Guide (Project Management Body of Knowledge) as a theoretical framework. Through an applied and descriptive approach, the causes of these deviations are identified and recommendations are proposed to mitigate these problems in future phases of the project. The quantitative and qualitative analysis of the data allows us to obtain conclusions that seek to improve management in similar projects, optimizing the planning, execution and control of the mentioned areas. The application of the PMBOK guide is key to increasing the chances of success, minimizing risks and improving efficiency in the construction industry.Ítem Desarrollo de un prototipo de aplicación para la elaboración de presupuestos y cronogramas preliminares utilizando el entorno de trabajo “power platform” de microsoft 365(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Melo Cuevas, Cristian Alexis; Ortiz Téllez, Julián Felipe; Peñuela Bachiller, Jonathan; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]With the growing technological advancements evident in recent years, the need to explore and create new methodologies for developing routine activities in various fields of information has become essential to achieve greater market competitiveness and improved work performance. However, one of the main challenges lies in integrating these technologies with traditional work environments, which often remain disconnected due to a lack of professional training in new technologies and, in many cases, their steep learning curve. To address this, the use of Microsoft Power Platform is proposed for developing a prototype prefeasibility report generator focused on creating budgets, schedules, and financial data for single-family and multi-family housing projects located in the department of Cundinamarca under established constraints. The goal is to make this process simple and practical, without requiring complex programming elements, leveraging the advantages of "low-code" solutions at low cost, with efficiency and replicability for different projects. Finally, the prototype's functionality was analyzed by comparing it with documented budgets and schedules from other projects to determine its validity and reliability in various scenarios. The results showed appropriate performance, particularly in projects with average finishing levels and industry-standard considerations, where complexity is low and the level of detail and studies required is minimal.Ítem Optimización de la gestión de alcance, costo y tiempo en la construcción de la E.S.E. Cayetano María Rojas en El Peñón, Cundinamarca mediante BIM frente a la metodología tradicional(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Vela Paiva, Jennyfer Carolina; Romero González, Jenny Alejandra; Gómez Barrera, July Lizeth; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]The project seeks to evaluate the feasibility of implementing BIM (Building Information Modeling) compared to the traditional methodology, applying various tools in the design of the new headquarters of the E.S.E. Cayetano María. It seeks to optimize the planning and control of scope, cost and time, highlighting the benefits of BIM such as the reduction of errors, better communication and efficient use of resources, as well as the challenges of its implementation. The analysis is based on an existing construction case, using plans, budgets and additional information. In addition, a virtual platform is used that integrates the stages of the project, addressing the limited adoption of BIM in the Colombian public sector.Ítem Prototipo de aplicación Android para la gestión eficiente de costos y cronograma en proyectos de vías terciarias utilizando el método del valor ganado(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Salcedo Combita, Javier Mauricio; Saurith Ramírez, Jose Alfonso; Aguilar Carrillo, Camilo José; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]In the context of infrastructure projects, particularly in the construction of rural roads, it is essential to have tools that simplify the control and monitoring of costs and schedules. This project proposes the creation of a mobile application prototype for Android that incorporates project management techniques, such as the Earned Value Method, with the aim of optimizing management and performance in the execution of such works. This application prototype is designed to assist project professionals in tracking progress through the calculation of key performance indicators, such as Actual Cost (AC), Planned Value (PV), and Earned Value (EV). Additionally, it provides a comprehensive environment that simplifies the management of multiple projects and access to key information from a mobile device; this is achieved through the implementation of Firebase as a platform for data storage and synchronization, and the use of Android Studio as the development environment. Regarding the development of the prototype, the Scrum methodology was used, which was suitable for the evolution and progress of the project in each of the methodology’s sprints. The primary programming language used was Java, as it is widely used and supported on Android. On the other hand, for user authentication and real-time database management, Firebase was chosen, as it is part of Google. This prototype was evaluated through a pilot test involving a real road project, which helped measure its effectiveness and make adjustments based on the results obtained. These results have shown that the application prototype can offer a practical alternative in managing costs and schedules in rural road projects, which is highly useful for professionals in the road construction sector.Ítem Gestión de los costos y del cronograma en un proyecto de obra urbanística en la ciudad de Bogotá D.C. según los lineamientos del PMBOK(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Gómez Linares, Laura Catalina; Guerrero Infante, Diego Armando; Hernández Leañó, Nicolás; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]Efficient project management in the context of construction projects in state contracting is essential to ensure the optimization of resources and the fulfillment of objectives within the contractually established deadlines and costs. For this reason, through an exhaustive analysis of the PMBOK techniques and their application in an urban planning project taken from SECOP II, the approach will be determined given the importance of compliance with times and costs or the optimization of these in construction projects, thus carrying out an analysis of the management processes, offering a concrete example and practical recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency in the execution of projects carried out in Colombia, especially public sector projects that are managed through the SECOP II transactional platform. Likewise, this monograph contributes to the body of knowledge in project management, offering an invaluable tool for professionals and entities involved in state contracting in Colombia, thus combining the best practices in project management of the PMBOK taking into account the areas of knowledge and domains that it presents to us, with a specific focus on the optimization of costs and time, the above, given the shortcomings that projects in Colombia present in terms of compliance with the times and costs assigned to the projects for their execution from the planning stage. The findings obtained through the review and analysis will be used to propose recommendations and strategies that can be implemented in cases of urban work in Bogotá. These strategies seek to contribute to improving the times and optimizing resources of the projects, in order to invest these in other projects that improve the quality of life of people in the city, as well as contribute to urban and sustainable development in accordance with global conditions.Ítem Determinación del grado de madurez de los procesos de gerencia de proyectos de una empresa catalogada como gran empresa en el sector de la construcción(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Rodríguez Llanos , Juan Sebastián; Ortiz Sabogal , David Orlando; Niño García , Jairo Enrique; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]The main objective of this degree work is to determine the degree of maturity of the project management processes in a company classified as a large company in the construction sector. To achieve this, the PRINCE2 maturity model (P2MM) has been adopted, which offers a structured framework to evaluate and improve project management. The study methodology includes the collection of information through questionnaires applied at different levels within the company's organizational structure, thus allowing a comprehensive view of current processes. The analysis focuses on identifying the current state of project management in the company, evaluating how its processes align with the principles and guidelines of PRINCE2. Based on these findings, improvement alternatives will be proposed to optimize management processes, promoting more efficient and controlled project management. The results of this research seek not only to improve the internal performance of the company, but also to offer a framework of reference that can be useful for organizations in the sector that wish to increase their level of maturity in project management.Ítem Aplicación de la metodología BIM para el control y seguimiento de obra, en un proyecto de infraestructura vial en BogotáVega Galindo, Anderson; Corredor Parada, Angie Zuleyda; Gil Bejarano, Bryan Camilo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]Currently, new technologies have not only evolved but have also transformed into a set of interconnected and shared tools, becoming work methodologies that benefit all industries. For this reason, they should be used to ensure proper control when managing construction projects. During the project management process, we use tools that are highly effective for monitoring activities during the construction phase. However, shortcomings in decision-making at the right time are still evident. This is due to the fact that relevant information for decision-making is managed somewhat in isolation or independently, without proper interaction. For example, information from construction progress reports is usually only used for billing purposes rather than for analyzing the project's status. To ensure that projects are efficient, this information must be processed and input into various software programs to carry out cost and schedule analyses using methodologies such as earned value and earned schedule. Additionally, the use of the BIM methodology, along with digital tools, is proposed to unify this information so that project control can be more effective, allowing real-time progress tracking and enabling necessary decisions to be made in line with the project's advancement. For this reason, we propose the use of a tool created for the administrative control of projects: an interactive dashboard that is easy to read and visually appealing. By integrating the BIM methodology, this tool allows stakeholders to analyze information in an organized and integrated manner, facilitating the making of important decisions that add value to the organization. This study focuses on a case involving a road infrastructure project in Bogotá, which is being developed simultaneously with the present study. This allows for the implementation of necessary tools within the BIM methodology to create a BIM model in the 3D, 4D, and 5D dimensions. Various digital tools will be used, including REVIT for modeling, Project for schedule tracking, Excel for managing and comparing budget figures, quantities, dates, and data contained in the digital model, and Power BI for managing information for project stakeholders.Ítem Gestión del riesgo financiero para proyecto Glamping tipo colmena, en Jardín Antioquia, ColombiaFajardo Sánchez, Oscar Rodolfo; Lizarazú Cuadros, Alexander; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]Tourism development in the country is one of the most important axes that the government proposes to implement; today we usually see the construction of different tourism development projects in the different departments of the territory. Glamping is one of the many projects that are growing, which is why this monograph is developed based on a project of this type. Glamping is a project that comes from traditional camping or tents that have historically been used to have contact spaces with nature or change the city environment. The difference between Glamping and tents or camping is that Glamping is designed to offer an improved experience of comfort and with services that these tents do not have, these services are jacuzzi, catamaran nets, beds of excellent comfort among others, there is a wide variety of Glamping designs and models, therefore, further on Some of the models built or offered by the builder of the case study project will be mentioned. The project being studied is GLAMPING TIPO MENA, built by Engineer Oscar Fajardo, between July 2022 and November 2022, it is in the department of Antioquia, in the municipality of Jardín, and is at an approximate altitude of 1,718 meters above sea level in the area. rural, surrounded by large areas of crops and access roads to the door of the project. This project, as reported, presented a negative financial imbalance between what was budgeted and what was finally executed, which is why the monograph is oriented towards the management of financial risks for Glamping Tipo Colmena, because managing the risks in advance is possible to detect them, thus avoiding economic losses in the development of future projects. With this monograph, it is expected to present a sufficiently clear Financial Risk Management document for Beehive Type Glamping, where evidence is left of what type of financial risks affected the project, analyze them and plan a possible response to them.Ítem Analisis de la linea base de costos empleando la técnica del valor ganado, mediante la herramienta Power Bi para el seguimiento y control de viviendas de interés social(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Leon Montaña, Laura Jineth; Avellaneda Sánchez , María Alejandra; Bernhard Rojas, Juan Sebastián; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]In civil works projects, the monitoring and control of the work is of vital importance since it allows the status of the project to be evaluated during its execution, facilitating the making of preventive and/or corrective decisions that are required to guarantee the success of the project. In this work, the analysis of the baseline costs of a social housing project (VIS) in the city of Bogotá was carried out. The analysis was carried out using the earned value methodology that made it possible to identify deviations during the execution of the work and measure performance in terms of scope, cost and time. Likewise, the Power Bi tool was implemented as a practical software that allowed the data obtained to be displayed graphically, where an interactive panel was generated with the S curve and the performance indicators of the social housing project (VIS) with the in order to analyze and compare what was planned with what was actually executed. The results revealed that the performance of the project was less than expected, since there were delays in the first six months, corresponding to activities such as piling, earthworks and foundations, which generated a significant change in terms of the final cost and time. determination. The initial cost of the project was approximately 22,983 million; as delays and additional costs were generated, the final cost of the project was approximately 29,290 millionÍtem Revisión de casos específicos de media alta complejidad del sector educativo aplicando metodología BIM.(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Maldonado Pedraza, César; Rodríguez Moreno, Holman Yesid; Moreno Gómez, Daniel Felipe; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]This report details the application of BIM methodology, supported by Revit and Plexos software, in two previously developed medium-high complexity projects. The report aims to guide the standardization and regulation of these processes for implementing BIM methodology in medium-high complexity projects. Additionally, it will develop methodological processes to create a compendium of lessons learned, which can be applied to similar projects in both private and public organizations.Ítem Análisis de modelos de madurez en gestión de proyectos en empresas de la construcción, perspectivas a nivel nacional e internacional(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Grueso Vásquez, Cristian Camilo; Sotomayor Aldana, Emi Jaison; Rodríguez López, Juan Alejandro; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]Currently, all sectors of the construction industry face multiple challenges arising from the shadows of economic recession and global instability resulting from macroeconomic phenomena such as the effects on logistics chains that resulted from the Covid Pandemic or the war in Ukraine and Israel, which have generated an increase in the costs of raw materials, equipment and even the cost of labor due to the impact of inflation on the economy, the economy has also experienced difficulties that have generated a significant drop in the GDP associated with construction, it is also necessary to highlight the reduction in investment due to the high interest rates that have occurred in recent months. All of the above leads to a reduction in the profit margins of construction companies, therefore, it is essential that companies in the country apply project management methodologies to optimize their processes, for this it is imperative that companies be able to recognize their strengths and weaknesses, since only in this way can improvement plans be formulated that are efficient for each organization. This self-assessment is carried out through maturity models in project management. Keeping in mind the importance of maturity models in project management, this study addresses, through a bibliographic review, the analysis of some of the most outstanding maturity models that are currently used at a national and international level, which includes Also some considerations of perspectives in which some of these methodologies and their form of application are evolving. Now, to go one step beyond the theory, in the last section of this degree work, the review of 38 studies on the perception of the degree of maturity in companies PYME of the city of Bogotá in Colombia is included, which have have been prepared within the framework of degree projects from multiple universities during the last 10 years, with which some considerations are given of the relationship between the bibliographic review and the level of application of the different project management tools in our country.Ítem Desarrollo de una base de datos para obtener los códigos del sistema de clasificación omniclass aplicándolos a un modelo de estructura de una edificación bajo la metodología bim en revit(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) OrtÍz Martínez , Juan Francisco; Moreno Robayo , Diego Yahir; Bohórquez Neira , Angélica; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]Omniclass is a classification system specifically designed for the construction industry, widely recognized for its specialized focus on Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology, as well as its prominence as the most widely used system worldwide in this field. Its development dates back to the year 2005, under the initiative of the Omniclass Development Committee (OCCS). This document focuses on the comparison and unification of the Omniclass classification system in the specialty of structures, carried out between two housing construction companies in the city of Bogotá. The primary objective is to establish a consolidated and uniform database. This process is justified by the need to identify and highlight the existing differences in the Omniclass system between two companies of similar nature. To achieve this purpose, a procedure is proposed that involves the exhaustive collection of relevant information, followed by a detailed comparison phase to determine both similarities and disparities between the classifications used by both construction companies. Subsequently, a macro will be developed in Microsoft Excel to allow the creation of a unique classification for structures, based on the findings obtained. As a final step, the resulting classification will be applied to a building structure model in Revit software. This approach aims to facilitate the generation of accurate and reliable quantity tables, derived from a coherent and unified classification, which will contribute to efficiency and precision in construction project management.Ítem Desarrollo de un prototipo de aplicación móvil para el seguimiento y programación de actividades en obra mediante el uso de la metodología de valor ganado(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Blanco Rincón, José Otoniel; Prieto Pérez, Mauricio; Santana Bohórquez, John Carlos; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]In the dynamic world of construction project management, evaluating performance and progress is essential to ensure success and efficiency in the execution of any project. One of the concepts widely recognized and used for this evaluation is the Earned Value Management (EVM), a technique that incorporates scope, time and cost to measure the status of a project in terms of value delivered. Until recently, calculating Earned Value required the use of complex and often expensive software, which limited its accessibility for many professionals and project teams. However, with the rise of mobile technology, a new frontier in project management has opened, offering the possibility of accessing powerful instruments in the palm of our hand. In this sense, the need arises to develop a mobile application that allows project managers to quickly and accurately calculate the management indicators established by the Earned Value technique for their projects. This degree project emphasizes the conceptualization, design, development and execution of said application, with the objective of providing a practical and effective tool that facilitates informed decision making and improves the control of projects in real time. Throughout this work, the theoretical foundations of Earned Value, its importance in project management and the key characteristics that must be considered to prepare a sketch of a mobile application for its calculation will be addressed. In addition, the application development process will be presented, from the definition of requirements to implementation and testing in real environments. Therefore, it is expected that this work will contribute to the advancement of the field of project management by offering an innovative and accessible tool that allows professionals to make informed and efficient decisions in the pursuit of the success of their projects.Ítem Análisis del plan de gestión de tiempo y costo en la rehabilitación de alcantarillados con CIPP (Cured In Place Pipe) en Bogotá según el PMBOK 6ta edición(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Puello Briceño, Arturo; Valencia Patiño, Camilo Andrés; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]The project proposes the analysis of the schedule and cost management plan executed in a sewer rehabilitation project in the city of Bogotá through technology CIPP, the application project took place exactly in the Claret and Inglés neighborhoods of the town of Tunjuelito, with the development of this project it was possible to detect improvements in the planning and execution processes following the good practices of the PMBOK 6th edition, we are generating a cost management plan in which all the activities to execute are applied and a schedule management plan the activities of the intervention of a section that requires rehabilitation by the CIPP method.Ítem Gerencia del costo del uso de cenizas volantes para cimentaciones de vivienda tipo VIS en la vereda el Verganzo del municipio de Tocancipá(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Ibáñez Ardila, Jeisson Andrés; Torres Baquero, Jonnathan de Jesús; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]This work evaluates the possibility of using fly ash for foundations for VIS type projects between 5 to 6 stories, as it is important for this type of projects the factors of time, cost and scope become determining factors when executing them. For this reason, it is analyzed how far the scope can go and how it can be defined thanks to the practices of the PMI, it is conceived to analyze the use of fly ash under the triple restriction (scope, time, cost). The alternatives used in the scope of the project are presented, the calculated costs that allow us to choose fly ash as an alternative and the estimated time under the pert method and with this show the agreement of the triple restriction that allows us to choose this alternative. It has been used under the judgment of experts to analyze the behavior of fly ash under adverse weather conditions such as rain and to which most of the foundations are exposed, as these are works that must be carried out in the open.Ítem Análisis comparativo del método de gestión del valor ganado según estándares internacionales: PMBOK séptima edición, ISO 21508 y ANSI/EIA 748 - D(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Rincón Cardozo, Juliana; Gil Castillo, Jhefferson; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo; Pineda Jaimes, Jorge Arturo [0000-0002-0953-9745]The main objective of this degree work is to carry out and subsequently present to the reader a comparative analysis of the earned or known value management methodology in its acronym in english as EVM (Earned Value Management) according to the PMBOK guide 7th edition, the ANSI/EIA 748D standard and the international standard ISO 21508:2018.
