Resumen
The Reserva 20 de Julio project, located in the town of San Cristóbal in the city of Bogotá, aims to provide social housing. This study analyzes the deviations in the scope, schedule and cost parameters during the first stage of construction, using the sixth edition of the PMBOK Guide (Project Management Body of Knowledge) as a theoretical framework. Through an applied and descriptive approach, the causes of these deviations are identified and recommendations are proposed to mitigate these problems in future phases of the project. The quantitative and qualitative analysis of the data allows us to obtain conclusions that seek to improve management in similar projects, optimizing the planning, execution and control of the mentioned areas. The application of the PMBOK guide is key to increasing the chances of success, minimizing risks and improving efficiency in the construction industry.
