Explora el inglés a través del aprendizaje significativo
Mendoza Monroy, Juli Catalina; Otálora Porras, Nelson
A degree proposal that proposed a Virtual Environment for learning English as a second language including pedagogical, didactic and technological elements that invite third grade students of a private institution in the city of Bogota in the town of Engativá, to explore and generate knowledge through motivation, interaction with other users and with the learning environment, presents as references legislation of the Ministry of National Education regarding the proposals of bilingualism programs of 2004 and the "Guide 22 Basic standards of competencies in foreign languages: English". Within the theoretical framework, the positions of diverse authors such as Stephen Krashen stand out, regarding language acquisition and the direct relationship that learning a second language has when immersed in real learning scenarios. He also relates the importance of acquiring vocabulary and in this way accessing communication channels, generating an opportunity to relate with others through the development of basic language skills (reading, speaking, listening). The above is related to the significant learning approach proposed by Ausubel, Novak and Pozo, where they highlight as the main factor, the role of the student in the learning generating environments. Integrating the aforementioned elements with educational resources, the Environment is built, with a specific theme and related contents; it is also evident that from the objectives and questions, conclusions and projections are generated, highlighting it as a fundamental element in the construction of learning.

Sumergidos con arquímedes: el aprendizaje del principio de Arquímedes mediado por un EVA y la construcción de un prototipo de submarino
Pinto Moreno, Claudia Johanna; Sánchez Gutiérrez, Sandra Catalina; Pulido Varela, John Alexander; Pulido Varela John Alexander [0000-0001-9311-4071]
This document aims to present a proposal about a virtual learning environment (VLE) and the development of a submarine prototype for the comprehension of basic knowledge about fluid mechanics, that allows eighth grade students from Parochial School “Inmaculado Corazón de María” (INCODEMAR) to understand the Archimedes Principle. The proposal emerges from identifying three aspects; the first one is the observation of the fact that the school’s physics curricular standards do not comply with the fundamental learning rights and the basic learning standards proposed by the education ministry (MEN) due to the fact that the fluid mechanics content is present in the eighth grade. This takes us to the second aspect that is reflected in the 2021 results report regarding the “Saber 11°” exam for educational institutions provided by ICFES, which results show difficulties when it comes to identifying, explaining, and modeling some natural phenomena by means of information analysis while using the scientific knowledge. The third aspect is visible in the didactic sequence and the institutional evaluation system since it does not comply with the pedagogical model being implemented in the school which is problem-based learning. Based on this, it is essential to pose a VLE and an evaluation of the process by means of the development and the explanation of the functioning of a submarine prototype that allows students to understand the Archimedes Principle and acquire the skills and knowledge needed to comply with the standardized tests in the field of fluid mechanics.

The design of a virtual learning environment (VLE) is presented, whose purpose is to encourage the learning of DC-DC power converters in a power electronics course of the Electronic Engineering program from Universidad de Cundinamarca. This proposal arises as an alternative to solve the difficulty of students to relate theoretical aspects and fundamentals of electronic engineering with experimental development. The pedagogical model adopted in this case is constructivism with meaningful and collaborative learning strategies, in accordance with this, the design thinking methodology is proposed to potentiate the learning process. The target population of this VLE are the students of the power electronics course of the Electronic Engineering program from Universidad de Cundinamarca. The ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) techno-pedagogical design strategy is applied for the construction of the VLE. As a result, from the bibliographic review, the contribution of design thinking in the development of problem-solving skills, critical thinking and 21st century skills is evident. The previous conditions foresee potential contributions of the methodology in the learning process of DC-DC power converters. Finally, the virtual learning environment is evaluated by pedagogical and thematic experts, obtaining satisfactory results.

The present assignment, reveals the design of a virtual learning environment (VLE), to carry out a training process with the teachers of the district schools of the town of Usme, in front of the institutional improvement plan; this in light of the postulates of the Guide for institutional improvement: from self-evaluation to the improvement plan (MEN, 2008). The proposal arises from the identification that FDI in some cases do not have a PMI or if they do, it is not up to date, since both teachers and teaching managers are unaware of the guidelines to do so or do not know how to put them into practice. From there, it is considered important to promote a training process that provides the necessary tools to teachers in relation to the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of improvement actions aimed at educational quality, through the AVA, through collaborative work among peers. Hence, the pedagogical model to be implemented is constructivism with a social focus, since it allows the development of skills through interaction, reflection, and joint construction through spaces such as forums, walls and collaborative activities.
