(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Monroy Casallas, John Eduard; Patiño Silva, Omar Francisco; Patiño Silva; Omar Francisco [0000-0002-2318-2498]
The design and construction of a vehicular bridge requires detailed topographic studies to define the area where the structure will be located. These studies, by determining the characteristics of the terrain, allow for a strategic selection that minimizes environmental impacts and guarantees the safety of users. Following the recommendations of structural engineers, the Mayor's Office of the municipality of Silvania, Cundinamarca, decided to build a new vehicular and pedestrian bridge called “Puente La Miel”, located between Calle 9 and Carrera 10, near the main park of Silvania. To carry out the necessary studies and designs for the construction of the bridge, a contract or bidding contest was held on October 24, 2022, which was awarded to the consulting and construction company Geo Puente. The topographic part of this project was developed in three stages. First, a field reconnaissance was performed to determine the location and georeferencing of two geodetic points materialized and tracked with GNSS equipment to obtain precise coordinates. Subsequently, a closed polygon was established using a back-zero methodology. Finally, a complete topographic survey was carried out, including boundaries, roads, furniture, signs, posts, wells, green areas and other relevant elements. This study included planimetry and altimetry to generate the necessary contour lines. In addition, due to the crossing of the La Miel bridge over the Subía river, a bathymetric study was carried out at the request of the specialist engineers. Transverse readings were taken every 10 meters, for a total of 10 sections upstream and 10 sections downstream, using a total station, rod and prism, by means of simple radiation. As a complementary part, the rain and sanitary wells were inspected, as well as the drains, recording their current state, the type of piping and construction materials, then a field review of the collected data was performed, verifying that all the elements are included in their totality, then the corresponding office work of each study is performed, with final delivery and client satisfaction.

Vehicle accidents are a problem that affects cities all over the world, and Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, is no exception. Every day, thousands of vehicles circulate through its streets and avenues, increasing the potential for traffic accidents that can have a significant impact on the lives of its inhabitants. These incidents not only cause material damage, but can also result in serious injuries and even loss of life. The city of Bogota, with its constant growth and complex road network, presents unique challenges in terms of managing and preventing vehicular accidents. Understanding the underlying causes of these crashes, identifying the areas of greatest risk, and developing effective strategies to prevent them becomes an essential task for traffic and road safety authorities. In this research, we will explore in detail the problem of vehicle crashes in the city of Bogotá. We will analyze the available statistics, identify the most frequent causes of traffic accidents, and perform a detailed analysis of the areas of the city with the highest incidence of accidents. Our objective will be to visit these specific points to evaluate the conditions that characterize these highrisk areas. During these visits, we will identify the potential risks to which both vehicles and pedestrians traveling along these road corridors may be exposed. This research not only seeks to provide an overview of the current situation of vehicular accidents in the city, but also to contribute to public awareness of the importance of road safety and the need for effective measures to prevent accidents and protect citizens.

Advanced topographic data capture methods have made a significant difference over time due to their use and application in different projects because of their high technology, among these can be found topographical surveys RPAS, GPS/GNSS satellite navigation systems, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), LIDAR technology, and other methodologies. These methods mark a significant difference in data capture in comparison to conventional topography, being applied in different areas such as infrastructure projects, territorial planning, earthworks, environmental impact assessment, among others (Corredor, 2018). LIDAR is characterized as one of the most innovative data capture methods at the forefront of technology due to its fast development and operation mode, this method ensures the representation of the land with appropriate margins of error, making its use valuable for the technological development of society (CHUQUIMIA, 2021). LIDAR is an advanced terrain data capture system based on laser beams emitted from a sensor mounted on an aircraft, either an unmanned aerial vehicle or a helicopter, these beams are reflected off the terrain and other objects, returning to the sensor in the form of light pulses, registering high-speed data, as of this information it is gotten a dense network of data corresponding to the position and elevation of each point, allowing to get the extraction of 3-dimensional surface information (X,Y,Z), from this terrain information, various processes and procedures can be carried out to identify different features such as slopes, flood areas, contour lines, earth volumes, basins, and the generation of Digital Surface Models (DSMs) for further analysis (Salamanca Cespedes, 2008). This paper aims to show and explain in detail all the procedures and activities carried out in the projects called ISA-INTERCOLOMBIA and ISA-TRANSELCA done by the company GEOCAM Ingeniería S.A.S for the modeling of electric transmission lines. It focuses on the treatment of data such as georeferenced ortho-photos and LIDAR point clouds, taking into account the parameters and conditions established for the development and processing to ensure optimal accuracy as required by the project. To achieve this, different knowledge and concepts of digital photogrammetry and data interpretation will be considered, using different programs and tools that allow to perform suitable data treatment, digitization, and processing for the generation of products such as topographic plans and Digital Terrain Models (DTMs) of the land surface for the projects undertaken.

Topography has a notable influence on variables that intervene in the dynamics of ecosystems. Geomorphological processes, the movement and action of water and, consequently, the numerous biological processes conditioned by them are closely associated with the shape and altitude of the land surface where they develop or are found (A. Felicísimo, 1994 ). In accordance with this, the present work carried out by the company CIGmap S.A.S, through the project "Photogrammetric and hydro-topographic survey of the Castilla Section on the Guayuriba River.", has as objective the generation of the digital terrain model, the digital model of surface together with the detailed Cartography and the orthophoto of the study area, on the other hand, it was sought to study the fluvial dynamics of the mentioned section on the Guayuriba river, for this, sampling of liquid and Solid gauging of the river was carried out in said section.
