Ítem Metodología de mapeo móvil para inventario vial rural(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Tocora Jiménez, Aarón Mateo; Espindola Rincón, Cristian David; Fernández Gómez, Wilmar Darío; Fernández Gómez, Wilmar Darío [0000-0001-6339-8050]Tertiary road infrastructure is key to the social and economic development of Colombian rural areas, but it faces significant limitations due to the lack of updated information. More than 142,000 km of tertiary roads lack accurate inventory, which hinders the planning and execution of maintenance and improvement strategies. In response, this project proposes the development of a mobile mapping methodology based on the integration of GNSS technology with high-resolution georeferenced video capture systems, which makes it possible to generate precise positional data and audiovisual material that facilitates the technical characterization of road corridors. The project will be implemented as a pilot in the municipality of La Palma, Cundinamarca, covering an approximate network of 100 km of tertiary roads. The mobile system, assembled on a vehicle, will allow the rapid collection of large volumes of information, which will subsequently be processed in a GIS to extract road characteristics (terrain type, road damage, and pavement conditions). The methodology proposes a low-cost alternative compared to traditional technologies such as LIDAR, with highly effective results in terms of time, coverage, and precision. This approach will strengthen technical capacities in topographic surveys applied to rural road infrastructure. This project represents an important opportunity to improve the way road information is collected in Colombia, by proposing the use of more accessible, useful, and easy-toimplement geospatial technologies. Its application can change the way rural municipalities manage their roads, enabling better planning, cost reduction, and improvement in transportation services. Beyond the technical component, this project seeks to strengthen the connection between rural and urban areasto reduce territorial inequalities. For all these reasons, it is considered a strategic initiative for the country’s development.Ítem Asociación e interiorización de conceptos topográficos en proyectos de la vida real(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Ibanez Miranda, Jesús David; Niño Niño , Edilberto; Niño Niño, Edilberto [0000-0003-0452-5827]The text reflects on humanity's ongoing pursuit of perfection and harmony, which drives individuals to continuously improve both personally and professionally. Sanabria Guio , Yessica Estefania; Pardo Pinzón , Janneth; Pardo Pinzón, Janneth [0000-0003-3534-2927]The Colombian company AV Ingenieros S.A.S. is an organization dedicated to providing engineering construction services, focusing on the urban planning sector. The purpose of this report is to support the fieldwork carried out with AV Ingenieros S.A.S. within the framework of the project "Topographic Procedures for the Control and Monitoring of Public Spaces." This project was developed to document the topographic processes used within a civil engineering project located in the town of Suba, near the northern transport terminal. This is due to the importance of topography in the measurements and basic guidelines for starting any project. Thus, there are two types of construction: vertical and horizontal, defined as such within urban land, where the topographic area is responsible for controlling and monitoring these structural processes. Urban land comprises the areas of district or municipal land designated for urban uses by the territorial planning plan, which have road infrastructure and primary energy, water, and sewage networks, enabling their urbanization and construction as appropriate. Areas in incomplete urbanization processes, included in consolidated areas with buildings, which are defined as comprehensive improvement areas in the Territorial Planning Plans, may also belong to this category. (IGAC, 2022). Urban planning is understood as the area that encompasses pedestrian and road zones; In this report, we seek to show the conformation of a pedestrian path, where planimetric methods (simple radiation, layout and location) and altimetric methods (direct leveling) were implemented for the monitoring and control of its structural conformation.Ítem Apoyo en actividades que requieran acompañamiento topográfico como elaboración de planos, fotogrametría y actualización de información geográfica de puntos de importancia para la prestación de servicios de la Empresa de Servicios Públicos de Tocancipá ESP(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Ballen Sanchez, Mauricio Alfonso; Niño Niño, Edilberto; Niño Niño, Edilberto [0000000304525827]Although the company has equipment with recent technology to carry out topographic surveys, it does not have its own personnel specialized in this work, since it usually contracts these services on an ad hoc basis or through the companies responsible for the construction projects. In this context, my participation as a candidate for the title of Topographic Surveying Technologist represented a significant contribution, by providing technical support in the field and office for the preparation of plans, pre-designs and calculations necessary for the development and publication of projects related to the expansion and optimization of basic sanitation and wastewater management.Ítem Apoyo en labores topográficas en la malla vial del proyecto de ampliación de la avenida Boyacá entre la 170 y la 183(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Bojacá Muñoz, Cristian David; Pardo Pinzón, Janneth; Pardo Pinzon, Janneth [0000-0003-3534-2927]Boyacá Avenue is one of Bogotá's main thoroughfares, playing a fundamental role in the city's mobility and connectivity. However, constant population growth and urban expansion in the northern sector have generated a significant increase in demand for this road, resulting in traffic congestion, longer travel times, and a decrease in the quality of life for local residents. In response to this problem, the widening of Boyacá Avenue between 170th and 183rd Streets is proposed. This project is designed to improve road capacity, optimize vehicle flow, and strengthen the infrastructure necessary for more efficient mobility. This initiative seeks not only to relieve congestion but also to integrate modern and sustainable elements, such as public transportation spaces, cycle paths, and safe pedestrian zones. This document details the objectives, scope, and methods of the widening, as well as the expected positive impacts in terms of mobility, urban development, and citizens' quality of life. In addition, environmental and social considerations are addressed to ensure the project's viability, with a focus on sustainability and comprehensive environmental improvement. This project is presented as a strategic solution to meet the current and future needs of the sector, contributing to the development of a more connected, accessible, and functional Bogotá for all its inhabitants.Ítem Determinación y clasificación de áreas de parques de Bogotá por localidades(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Rodríguez Chavarro, César Ferney; Niño Niño, Edilberto; Niño Niño, Edilberto [0000-0003-0452-5827]This study aims to classify urban parks in Bogotá by locality, considering their size, accessibility, and topographic features through the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), specifically ArcGIS Pro. The goal is to produce updated and detailed information to support better urban planning and a more equitable distribution of green spaces throughout the city. The methodology involved the collection of geospatial data from official sources such as IDECA, the Agustín Codazzi Geographic Institute (IGAC), and DANE. Shapefiles of Bogotá’s administrative divisions and registered parks were downloaded and processed. Tools like "Join" and "Export Features" in ArcGIS Pro were used to merge spatial layers based on common attributes, classify parks by locality, and calculate their area. The coordinate system was configured using MAGNA SIRGAS 2018 for spatial accuracy. Through this process, the number of parks, their total area per locality, and the amount of green space available per capita (based on 2025 population projections) were determined. The results highlight that localities such as Suba, Kennedy, and Engativá host the majority of parks and recreational space but also face challenges due to high population density. In contrast, areas like La Candelaria and Sumapaz offer fewer urban green spaces due to historical or rural characteristics. This analysis reveals inequalities in access to green areas and underscores the need for urban planning that considers demographic and topographic diversity. It also demonstrates the usefulness of GIS tools in supporting data-driven decisions to create more inclusive, sustainable, and livable cities.Ítem Generación de un modelo digital para el proyecto de la primera línea del metro de Bogotá(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Rojas López, Santiago; Garzón Gutiérrez, Brayan Eduardo; Hernández Gómez, Wilmar DarioThe use of LiDAR technologies on the first line of the Bogotá Metro project has played a key role in the efficient planning and execution of the infrastructure.
