Resumen
Laser scanning technology revolutionizes the centralization of topography, thus providing a guide for digitization and 3D reconstruction, specifically for the first floor of the National Library of Colombia using a terrestrial laser scanner. The primary goal is to create a detailed three-dimensional model of this area to promote access, knowledge, and appreciation of cultural heritage. 3D laser scanning technology ensures precision and authenticity in the reconstruction, offering an immersive experience for users interested in architectural structures. The digitization of the first floor of the National Library is significant due to its importance as a cultural and educational center. Thus, those interested in using and managing advanced and specialized software will be guided in using software such as SCENE, Agisoft Metashape, Pix4D, ReCap, and other tools that contribute to this technology. Additionally, by providing virtual access to this section through 3D reconstruction, the reach of the library is expanded and access to knowledge is democratized. The technology fosters understanding of historical architecture and cultural value of this area, encouraging participation in cultural and educational activities that address the perception of knowledge focused on architectural structures.
