Ítem Un acercamiento a la biodiversidad vegetal para el conocimiento y la conservación de huertas escolares de colegios aliados al Jardín Botánico de Bogotá José Celestino Mutis mediante una guía ilustradaRamírez Sierra, Laura Melissa; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethThe teaching-learning process of schools and institutes is mostly of a rote-traditional nature, and that, some textbooks that were used for the realization of the classes have been left aside, lately the textbooks or of illustration are not used as frequently in the classroom; This proposal was developed taking into account these aspects and managing to differentiate them from a guide illustrated by its author with a watercolor technique and with a practice accompanied by care, steps and recognition through illustration for the appropriation of plant environments that They are found in the school gardens of the schools allied to the JBBJCM; stimulating the boys and girls belonging to describe situations or phenomena based on the human capacity to process visual information (Larkin and Simón, 1987; Feschotte and Moles, 1991) and its advantage over written texts in the stimulation of mental models ( Stone and Golk, 1981; Duchastel, 1981). For this it was necessary to establish the difference of a knowledge that is developed in unconventional spaces; like the school garden, and a different learning process was carried out and something more directed to what Bandura thought, which accepts that human beings acquire skills and behaviors in an operant and instrumental way, thus rejecting that our learning is carried out according to the model behaviorist. It highlights how cognitive factors intervene between observation and imitation that help the subject decide whether to imitate what is observed or not; This author is recognized for his studies on observational learning, through which he has shown that human beings acquire new behaviors without obvious reinforcement. The only requirement for learning may be that the person observes another individual or model carry out a certain behavior. Later, especially if the model received a visible reward for its execution, the observer may also manifest the new response when given the opportunity to do so (Ruiz, 2010). For this reason, based on a pedagogical strategy, which was an illustrated guide, knowledge for the conservation of these spaces was encouraged in children, taking into account that the development of observation and relationship within the learning process It is a fundamental part for the advancement in environmental educational policies regarding respect, care, value and appropriation of the environments.Ítem Acercamiento a la diversidad de lepidópteros diurnos y su aporte al proceso de restauración en el Cerro de MonserrateMedina Suárez, Nathalia; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethThis document arises as a result of the research project developed in the Enrique Olaya Herrera Stage II Park, supported by the Botanical Garden of Bogotá and the Francisco José de Caldas District University, under the modality of an internship, in the area of undergraduate studies in Biology. The purpose of the project is to contribute to the characterization of diurnal lepidoptera found in the different scenarios of the Enrique Olaya Herrera National Park Stage II, for the periods of October and November of the year 2019. Bearing in mind the importance of these organisms within the evaluation of a restoration process and its impact at the level of ecosystem services, a total of 14 sampling scenarios were established that meet the characteristics of being areas in the process of restoration and are divided into three large groups: pajonal. scrub and forest, which influence the diversity of recorded individuals. The capture of the organisms was manually with the use of entomological net and the sampling day was established between 8am and 4 pm, for a total of 165 individuals, of which 4 families, 7 subfamilies, 13 genera were found. and 16 species, being the Nymphalidae and Pieridae families the ones with the highest number of species. Subsequently, the Simpson diversity index was calculated for a low dominance with respect to the diversity index (high diversity) and the Shannon-Wiener index, which resulted in an ecosystem with a fairly high species biodiversity. Finally, and according to the species accumulation curve, we can say that according to Aguilar-Garavito M. and W. Ramírez, 2015, the occurrence of rare species within the forest can indicate particular habitats or areas of interest for conservation, which which suggests that which allows to support the process of restoration of the sampling area and the resilience of the landscape. As a contribution to the work developed, a catalog is generated where the results of the research project are recorded, the different organisms found at the family and species level are reported, taking into account their abundance, diversity and morphological description.Ítem Acercamiento a las especies nativas de flora de los humedales de Bogotá en Instituciones Educativas del Distrito Capital.Gutiérrez Pineda, Nadya Valentina; Rozo Rodriguez, Laura Alejandra; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethDespite the efforts that have been made in recent years, often in formal and non-formal education contexts, environmental education (EE) has not fully fulfilled its objective of generating a transformation in the thinking of individuals, which it is reflected in environmental problems that persist through the years without reaching a resolution. For this reason, the objective of this study was to bring students from educational institutions in Bogotá closer to the native vegetation of the wetlands present in the city in order to bring them closer to their environment and for this, an escape room was designed and It was applied in two modalities: face-to-face and virtual with students participating in the SSA of the JBBBJCM from three educational institutions. Likewise, the incidence of the designed game on the students' knowledge about wetlands and native vegetation was identified through an activity feedback instrument. Finally, the virtual and face-to-face application was compared to show if it influenced the students' knowledge using statistical analysis. As a result of this project, it was evidenced that the designed and applied linear escape room allowed students to approach the main characteristics of wetlands and their native vegetation and the statistical analysis allowed recognizing that the application modality did not influence knowledge. acquired by the students and in both, the generation of new knowledge was achieved, for which it is inferred that the use of didactic tools such as the game allow a better appropriation of the knowledge of Biology, generating motivation and interest in the students, especially in the attitudinal dimension.Ítem Acompañamiento desde el programa cuencas de la línea de educación ambiental comunitaria del Jardín Botánico de Bogotá José Celestino Mutis (JBBJCM), en el desarrollo de procesos educativos ambientales que beneficien el reconocimiento territorialBallesteros Galindo, Lizeth Adriana; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethEnvironmental education as a process developed with the community, allows to recognize the reality of the territory, taking into account the dimensions of the environment, in order to promote attitudes, skills and values in the subjects, the present work raises territorial recognition by the community through the development of different environmental activities carried out from the cuencas program which is part of the educational and cultural subdirectorate and belongs to the line of environmental environmental education of the Botanical Garden of Bogotá José Celestino Mutis (JBBJCM) said activities are framed in three processes of environmental education: the first one developed with environmental leaders of third and fourth grades of Colegio Colombia Grande, headquarters B, the second process in which the construction of a community environmental manger was carried out with the inhabitants of the Rincón de Venecia neighborhood , which was supported by the National Police onal with the presence of students from the Santander General Police School and members of the sixth Tunjuelito police station; and the third the development of the so-called 'environmental vacations' in which all types of community belonging to the locality of Tunjuelito participate. The project is developed within the framework of the qualitative methodology using in the implementation the direct observation of the different activities such as workshops, talks, observations and experiments carried out. As a result it is determined that the processes were successful so it is important to highlight the function of the Botanical Garden of Bogotá José Celestino Mutis (JBBJCM) as the entity in charge of the development of environmental education programs generating territorial recognition, environmental awareness and enjoyment by citizens that in this way they will contribute to environmental sustainability.Ítem Apoyo a los procesos de educación ambiental desarrollados por el Jardín Botánico de Bogotá José Celestino Mutis en la línea de servicio social ambiental (SSA)Rodríguez Barbosa, Yenny Catalina; Martínez Sánchez, María Alejandra; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethEl presente trabajo se realizó dentro del marco de pasantía en el Jardín Botánico de Bogotá José Celestino Mutis (JBBJCM), Centro de Investigación Científico Distrital, el cual se encarga de dirigir y llevar a cabo procesos de gestión integral de coberturas verdes en la ciudad, del desarrollo de programas de educación ambiental, de la conservación como el mantenimiento de colecciones vivas de flora para su apropiación y aprovechamiento por parte de los ciudadanos además como gran aporte a la sostenibilidad ambiental, (Jardín Botánico de Bogotá José Celestino Mutis, 2015). Estas gestiones enmarcadas dentro de la reglamentación del acuerdo 002 y 003 de marzo del 2007 se organizan dentro de tres subdirecciones; Subdirección Técnica Operativa, Subdirección Científica y Subdirección Educativa y Cultural, siendo en esta última la encargada de orientar la presente pasantía.Ítem Apropiación de espacios escolares a través de la renaturalización como estrategia de educación ambiental, en el marco del programa Servicio Social Ambiental (SSA) del Jardín Botánico de Bogotá José Celestino MutisBogoya Orozco, Edgar Leonardo; Hilarión Quiroga, Yon Alexander; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethIn recognition of the current environmental problems of the city of Bogotá DC, it is clear the need to generate spaces that improve the quality of life of the community by guaranteeing the enjoyment and sustainability of the urban environment, which is why it seeks to address the human aspect from a pedagogical perspective, working from environmental education focused on renaturalization, achieving processes of institutional participation in schools, within the framework of the Environmental Social Service program of the Botanical Garden of Bogotá, José Celestino Mutis. For the development of activities and actions that contribute to the recovery and appropriation of school green environments.Ítem Apropiación de los territorios ambientales (cerros orientales, páramo y humedales) de Bogotá, por medio de la implementación de aulas ambientales desde las iniciativas del servicio social ambiental del Jardín Botánico de Bogotá José Celestino MutisMarín Tobón, Nelson; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethThe Botanical Garden of Bogotá, José Celestino Mutis, in its line of environmental education community, within the Educational and Cultural Subdirectorate, presents a variety of initiatives and development processes that promote in the communities of the capital; projections for the improvement of the quality of life and an awareness ecological Through its project of social environmental service of the SSA, the communities The students have the facility to receive an accompaniment and training for the development of initiatives oriented to environmental education. Through activities related to environmental education, it seeks to generate processes of appropriation of biodiversity, present in the city of Bogotá, focusing on ecosystems of great importance, such as the moor and wetlands, trying to teach through pedagogical tools, the importance of biodiversity and the conservation of native species of animals and plants.Ítem Biomonitoreo participativo para el reconocimiento del territorio y enseñanza básica de angiospermas, en estudiantes de la IED “Carlos Giraldo” sede Mesitas de Caballero de Anolaima-Cundinamarca.Castañeda Santamaría, Zuzel Andrea; Barón Gamboa, Mildred Jeraldin; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethThis work presented a line of research in the teaching of sciences oriented towards the construction of scientific knowledge, and the explanation of natural elements. He contributed to the teaching and learning of angiosperms with second, fourth and fifth elementary students of the rural school "Mesitas de caballero" belonging to the IED Carlos Giraldo of the municipality of Anolaima Cundinamarca; Where different pedagogical strategies were used to create a didactic unit within the framework of the Educational Action Research (IAE) approach that was adapted to the needs of the population, designed through a diagnosis of previous ideas and a socioeconomic categorization of students; Jointly articulated the action research participation in the approach of social pedagogical cartography (CSP) as a strategy that allowed to recognize the territory graphically, later to make tours in the school and the sidewalk that allowed the children to interact with the biological diversity of angiosperms participating actively , And thus build an inventory of representative plants which are part of the creation of a digital herbarium, which favored the appropriation and conservation of plant diversity and territory.Ítem Caracterización de argumentos expuestos por estudiantes en la clase de ciencias, cuando se debate en torno a la explotación minera como cuestión sociocientíficaCastellanos Castro, Vicente Ulises; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethThis research emerged from the search of didactic alternatives for the teaching of sciences, which sought to move away from the traditional teaching model in which knowledge is presented and elaborated with a depleted image of science. In order to solve this, a teaching and learning model where science is recognized as a social, cultural, historical and collaborative process is necessary. In this process, the students have a leading role that allows them the ability to cooperatively construct knowledge, enable the formation of informed citizenry, and the ability and make social decisions argued in an epistemological component of science. On that basis, it was designed a learning unit in which mining was taken as a socio-scientific issue. The discussions between students, their statements during the implementation of the learning unit, and the characterization of the sentences constructed by the students allowed inferring the elements of Toulmin’s argumentative model (MAT), analyzing their qualities and the areas from which they are justified. The research was framed from the interpretative paradigm, with a qualitative perspective and case study methodology. The case under study involved 40 eighth-grade students between the ages of 13 and 16, from the General Santander Educational Institution in the municipality of Soacha in Cundinamarca. During the development of the activities proposed in the didactic sequence, the students constructed oral and written argumentative statements, content analysis was performed on the students’ argumentative statements and separated into three separate categories: elements of the MAT, qualities of the elements, and fields or knowledge that justify the statements. The findings establishes that scientific education in which dialogue, cooperation, debate, and reflection are promoted, invokes students reasoning processes, and develop unique skillsets such as: generate o modify conclusions based on the acquisition of new data, establish a consensus with peers, defend and justify ideas through various methods of argumentation, that favors the formation of critical citizens able to cope with the socio-scientists problems in which they are immersed. Key words: Teaching of sciences, Learning unit, Socio-scientific issue, Toulmin’s argumentative model, Argumentative statements, Critical citizens.Ítem Caracterización de la práctica pedagógica de un docente vinculado al aula hospitalaria de la Clínica CAFAM calle 51Acosta Vargas, Mauricio; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethHospital classrooms are spaces created in health institutions to continue the education of children and young people, who for some reason interrupt their academic training, these spaces arise after the Second World War (Elliot, Lizasoáin et al, 1987), where pediatric doctors who treated children wounded in combat worked recreational activities, noting improvements in health status and decreasing hospital stay times. For that matter, Bogotá D.C. specifically, it has been working in hospital classrooms as of 2010. In Bogotá D.C. there are clinics where the AH program is developed, as is the case of the CAFAM 51st street clinic. This scenario, served to characterize the pedagogical practice of a hospital teacher, in this way, the existing convergence of the right to Health and education, in the same space. Therefore, the hospital teacher must cover the educational needs of the hospitalized population, through their pedagogical practice, in this process health risks must be avoided in the provision of the educational service. For the development of the objectives of this work, the research had a qualitative approach, based on non-participatory observations, through a case study and using the MAXQDA® software for analysis after the application of the instruments used, finally, triangulation of the results obtained was performed.Ítem Concepciones de los ciudadanos de Bogotá, tomando como base la implementación de un curso sobre el cambio climático ofrecido por el Jardín Botánico José Celestino MutisPineda Salvador, Jonny Nicolás; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethClimate change has a great direct or indirect influence coming from human activity, which alters the composition of the global atmosphere, this added to the natural variability of the climate observed during different periods of time, makes the actions taken regarding the environment are of great importance, but not only these actions, but also the actions daily activities that people carry out and that have a great impact on climate change. In this work, support was provided for the design of a course on climate change offered by the Botanical Garden of Bogotá José Celestino Mutis (hereinafter JBBJCM), through which an analysis of the conceptions that a group of visitors to the JBBJCM have, taking into account the ideas that they had the population before and after the implementation of said course, highlighting what implications have the conceptions in the daily actions of people and how these could change after giving them the necessary conceptual tools to make more accurate decisions in pro climate change. All this with the purpose that the community is well informed and can make the best decisions in the future, always from a critical point of view and knowing the responsibility that their actions entail and thus go on improving and mitigating the effects of climate change, in order to be able to slow down a little all the consequences that derive of this problemÍtem Construcción de conocimientos sobre la importancia de los arbolados urbanos de Bogotá mediante un enfoque de enseñanza por descubrimiento científico.Nuñez Pulido, Estefani Soledad; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethVirtuality has become a challenge in the field of education, and it is a possibility that science teachers have to improve the pedagogical strategies that are known today; it is for this reason that during this work a teaching method based on scientific discovery was designed to be used by students, and oriented by the teacher, where it is the student who finds solutions to questions that are made and resolved by himself, and in addition that can at the same time share by means of scientific dissemination articulated with institutional programs such as the PRAE, through virtual platforms like Padlet, thus converging on the importance that knowledge has for life. As a result of this work it was possible to demonstrate that the use of teaching by scientific discovery presents favorable results in the vast majority of students, it was evident that through this learning of the importance of trees the students managed to make the appropriation and construction of knowledge, since this method mentioned brings the subject to knowledge in a direct way, and the perception that is made will be constructed by the same student in an autonomous way and reinforced by the teacher through a process of socialization.Ítem Creación de material educativo para contribuir a la mitigación del cambio climático a través de la elaboración de eco-ladrillosPinilla Camacho, Lina Vanessa; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethThe present work was framed in the modality of internship in the Botanical Garden of Bogota José Celestino Mutis (JBBJCM), as a District Scientific Research Center, which is responsible for directing and carrying out various processes of integrated management. With the help of this work, a space was provided to raise awareness about the importance of properly managing plastic waste, knowing the impact it has on the environment; therefore, an environmental proposal was developed that promotes the creation of ECO-STONES, which can be donated and used for various social works. This allowed us to give a different use to the plastics used on a daily basis and thus reduce the solid waste that reaches the sites for garbage collection and that have a direct relationship with the gases that produce the greenhouse effect and climate change, together with the purpose of the Educational and Cultural Subdirection, which is to develop a guiding work guided to generate a cultural change that will allow us to build a sustainable, equitable and resilient city.Ítem Desarrollo e implementación de una experiencia ambiental que permita la comprensión y conservación de la flora endémica y característica del Páramo de Sumapaz dirigida a visitantes del Jardín Botánico de BogotáCastro Chaparro, Andres Giovanny; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethIn the present work, the design of an environmental experience was proposed that allowed visitors to the José Celestino Mutis Botanical Garden of Bogotá (JBBJCM) to learn about the endemic and characteristic flora of the páramos and specifically that of Sumapaz. Because the main characteristic of this type of experience is that it benefits a group of communities, developing strategies such as activities with different didactic processes that benefit the safety of the environment, likewise the experience should allow generating reflections and learning related to the environment. stated objective.Ítem Determinación de la importancia del hongo Trichoderma sp. como agente biocontrolador frente a ataques de fitopatógenos en especies de Orquídeas.Herrera Zamudio, Yuly Katherin; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethIn this work, a bibliographic review was searched and carried out and effective results of Trichoderma sp. as a biocontroller. It started from the search for studies related to different species of orchids, continued with a second investigation, which was limited to the review of the most commercialized and cultivated orchids in Cundinamarca, for the delimitation of the work and then proceeded to identify the phytopathogens that affect these species. The first results showed how much progress has been made in recent years in this area. Finally, a third search was continued, where the phytopathogens that affect orchids and other plants and their relationship with treatment with Trichoderma sp. This work makes an important contribution by investigating whether the Trichoderma sp. Biocontroller, in addition to being an environmentally friendly alternative, has the ability to treat phytopathologies in orchids; opening the opportunity for the implementation of this new biotechnology in this type of plants. The above, in order to generate an updated panorama on the effectiveness of Trichoderma sp. in disease treatment and to be able to relate it as a solution to the phytosanitary management of orchids.Ítem DIAGNÓSTICO SOBRE EL ESTADO DE SALUD MENTAL (ESTADO EMOCIONAL) DE LOS ESTUDIANTES DE LA FACULTAD DE INGENIERÍA DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DISTRITAL FRANCISCO JOSÉ DE CALDAS(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Henao De arias, Hilda; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly Janneth; Arias Henao, Camilo AndrésÍtem Diagnóstico sobre el estado de salud mental (estado emocional) de los estudiantes de la facultad tecnológica de la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. Colombia) Henao de Arias, Hilda; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly Janneth; Arias Henao, Camilo AndrésÍtem Dinámicas cognitivo conductuales concernientes a la enseñanza de la educación ambiental, aplicadas a una población infantil del grupo club de ciencias y vacaciones científicas, del Jardín Botánico de Bogotá José Celestino MutisVirgüez Chivatá, Miguel Angel; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethThis document was prepared as a degree project in the form of an internship, in the educational and cultural subdirectorate (SEC) of the Botanical Garden of Bogotá. In the SEC the support and professional support was developed around the groups of the science club and scientific vacations, recreational pedagogical designs were developed concerning the topics of urban agriculture, the implementation of the mentioned pedagogical designs was continuously carried out. The group of bushes, made up of children from 7 to 9 years of age, proceeded to execute the implementation of the pedagogical designs to the scientific vacation groups, made up of children from 4 to 12 years of age. Parallel to the development of the various activities that were carried out in the SEC, a pedagogical proposal was made regarding environmental education and science education. Therefore, the evaluation of two theories of social and emotional psychology was carried out, being these; the motivational theory of the opposing process of Solomon and Corbit, 1974 and the theory of the transfer of the excitement of Zillmann, 1978. These theories explain the dynamics of the affective reaction, understood as the process by which the individual manifests the emotions through a specific stimulus or instigator. The results of this research show that the understanding of the functioning of emotions in children by the teacher, encourages the development of new pedagogical proposals, which in prospective facilitate the development of positive cognitive and behavioral dynamics in children.Ítem Diseño de un módulo sobre generalidades y producción de hongos comestibles: experiencia en el marco de la línea de formación del Jardín Botánico José Celestino MutisOliveros Londoño, Stefania; Ruiz Pacheco, Nelly JannethThe JBBJCM in its mission as responsible for the implementation of environmental education processes and from the Educational and Cultural Subdirectorate, strengthens initiatives such as urban and peri-urban agriculture through training processes for citizens, in order to qualify their environmental knowledge, agricultural and ecological. According to these training processes that are carried out there, it is extremely important to produce fresh and healthy food from home, being one of the advantages that Urban Agriculture offers us and that is why mushrooms (edible mushrooms ) are a great resource to contribute to self-consumption at home. Mushrooms offer a wide range of benefits, among which the production of these as foods stands out, which is why it is important to consider their importance and be able to contribute to sustainable nutrition. Edible mushrooms represent a natural, healthy and nutritious food, with unique flavor, aroma and texture characteristics for the human diet, so their daily consumption could provide nutritional and medicinal benefits. (Gaitán, 2019) Currently, the mushroom Pleurotus spp is considered a food supplement with high nutritional value, since its proteins contain all the essential amino acids, so it should be included in the daily diet. It is a mushroom rich in carbohydrates, vitamins, fiber and minerals, and it also has a low fat content. They contain vitamins such as niacin, thiamine (B1), vitamin B12 and vitamin C, as well as minerals such as potassium, phosphorus, calcium, among others. (Gaitán, 2019) Due to the above, in this work a methodological proposal was made on the design of a module that aims to offer theoretical-practical knowledge about the cultivation and production of mushrooms on a substrate, in order for the participants to know more about the dietary benefits of these.
