Resumen
Climate change has a great direct or indirect influence coming from human activity, which alters the composition of the global atmosphere, this added to the natural variability of the climate observed during different periods of time, makes the actions taken regarding the environment are of great importance, but not only these actions, but also the actions daily activities that people carry out and that have a great impact on climate change. In this work, support was provided for the design of a course on climate change offered by the Botanical Garden of Bogotá José Celestino Mutis (hereinafter JBBJCM), through which an analysis of the conceptions that a group of visitors to the JBBJCM have, taking into account the ideas that they had the population before and after the implementation of said course, highlighting what implications have the conceptions in the daily actions of people and how these could change after giving them the necessary conceptual tools to make more accurate decisions in pro climate change. All this with the purpose that the community is well informed and can make the best decisions in the future, always from a critical point of view and knowing the responsibility that their actions entail and thus go on improving and mitigating the effects of climate change, in order to be able to slow down a little all the consequences that derive of this problem
