Resumen
The Botanical Garden of Bogotá, José Celestino Mutis, in its line of environmental education community, within the Educational and Cultural Subdirectorate, presents a variety of initiatives and development processes that promote in the communities of the capital; projections for the improvement of the quality of life and an awareness ecological Through its project of social environmental service of the SSA, the communities The students have the facility to receive an accompaniment and training for the development of initiatives oriented to environmental education. The present work was developed with the Manuel Elkin Patarroyo schools of Santafe, the Don Bosco Scout group from Engatividad and the Usme, the Youth Integration Center group. Environmental social service initiatives were emphasized in the development of classrooms environments and in the creation of the Tihuaque environment classroom, in the city of Usme With the groups and universities that participate in the SSA, a timeline of activities divided into two phases, the first of theoretical and conceptual training, in addition formulation in what corresponds to the initiatives of SSA, the second phase will be I emphasize on the execution of the initiatives formulated.
