The document presents detailed information on the generation of waste in the company Gran Américas Usme S.A.S., as well as compliance with the environmental management training plan. Based on the established environmental objectives for 4 months, the results provide information on the control of waste generation. It is observed that the behavior of the generation is mainly aligned with the execution of maintenance routines as well as environmental education in the segregation of waste, and end of the useful life of resources, taking into account that it is the main source of generation within the company's operation. This research seeks to determine the efficiency of a functional prototype of an electrocoagulation cell for the treatment of textile wastewater contaminated with dyes using iron anodes, based on the experimental design of the interrelation of critical variables, measuring the treatment efficiency of all possible combinations. of operating parameters in a synthetic sample. Subsequently, the statistical analysis was carried out to determine the optimal operating conditions of the prototype, and to carry out the treatment of an environmental sample, under the conditions already defined (600cm2, 5 amps and 30 minutes of treatment). Based on the results obtained, COD removal efficiencies of over 60%, decreases in the concentration of dissolved solids between 30 and 40%, and a 63% decrease in the turbidity value were achieved. This paper pretends to evidence that an Al-H2O2 galvanic cell can destabilize the suspended solids of a water used as cell’s electrolyte, in order to describe a clarification process with electrical energy generation instead of consumption. Using an aluminum anode, a graphite cathode, H2O2 as oxidant and a clay suspension in KCl solution as electrolyte that simulated the water to treat, a galvanic cell was made; elimination of turbidity of suspension, potential difference and electrical current generated were evaluated. The proposed system clarified water by flocculation and dissolution, generated an average of 0.613 V and supplied 8.51 C at an average intensity of 157 µA; aluminum hydrolysis eliminated 88.9±1% of turbidity by flocculation, improving to 96.6±1% by addition of H2O2, that solubilized suspended particles, stimulated electrical current generation and mitigated the voltage fall. Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) was used as catalyst at concentrations of 600 mg/L, 1200 mg/L and 1800 mg/L added to the start of each test in the water sample prepared with 200 mg/L of indigo dye known under the commercial name as "Iris # 36 (blue Indigo)”. 18 trials took place using a regulating voltage source (MW) of 2 (A)., where conditions of voltage applied were 6, 9 and 12 V for generating electrolysis, each of these tests with one (1 ) replica, in the presence of light in the black UV range emitted by four lamps Nippon of 6W and a dark phase (without the presence of light) for 30 minutes (time of operation defined by the experimental design of type 3x3x2) with the aim of studying the influence of these parameters in the production of hydrogen (H2) and physical changes; i.e. in discoloration and mineralization in the sample (turbidity, pH and conductivity of water). The results obtained were processed using a statistical analysis of multivariate type using Statgraphics Centurion XVII- 2015 software that established the maximum and minimum values, the Pearson correlation and Spearman's ordinal as analysis method for the most efficient material measured the four properties.
