Abstract

On May 26, 2015 decree 1076 was issued through which the Sole Regulatory Decree of the Environment and Sustainable Development Sector was created, which in its chapter 7A (Added by Decree 284 of February 15, 2018) of book 2, part 2; dictates the general provisions about Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. Cisne Negro Inversiones S.A.S in compliance with the standard and highlighting its environmental commitment wants to determine what its responsibilities as an importer of Electrical and Electronic Equipment in the management of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment and implement the System of Management and Collection of WEEE in their organization as a compliance mechanism and integral management of Electrical and Electronic Waste.
