Resumen
Disaster Risk Management at the Urban Level is a component of joint work between the community and district administrations; constituted by an efficient process of planning, organization, direction and control directed to the analysis and reduction of risks, the handling of adverse events and the recovery before those already occurred as the case of Bogotá in which work is done on how to anticipate and act before possible effects of natural phenomena and generated by human activities, which has led to the design and implementation of mechanisms that can intervene in preventive or corrective ways to eliminate, mitigate or reduce their impacts on people, goods, the economy and the environment in the City.
The Horizontal Property Disaster Risk Management Program has been designed as a proposal by the Natural Planet foundation aimed at the residential complexes of the city of Bogotá in order to prepare families and residents in case of emergencies that may arise, such as consequence of the different internal and external risks to which the residents of this type of buildings are exposed; taking into account the current national and district regulations as well as the application of Law 1523 of 2012 on Risk Management.
