Ítem Una aproximación a los polinomios casi-ortogonalesMonserrate Sepúlveda, Miguel Antonio; Sanjuán Cuéllar, Álvaro ArturoThe purpose of this work is to analyze the article "On quasi-orthogonal polynomials" written by David Dickinson. For this, in the first place some theoretical bases are established that serve as tools to be able to give a good development to the work. Following this the general theory of orthogonal polynomials is stated and it is shown that given a sequence of orthogonal polynomials a relationship of 3 terms is fulfilled, as well as a particular case in which orthogonal polynomials have real coefficients. Finally, a general definition of quasi-orthogonal polynomials is presented, two necessary and sufficient condition theorems that show the strong relationship that exists between orthogonal polynomials and quasi-orthogonal polynomials, a third necessary and sufficient condition theorem about quasi-orthogonal polynomials, and as an example that Sister Celine's polynomials are quasi-orthogonal.Ítem Estimación de volúmenes de madera en pie de la especie "Pinus Patula" mediante polinomio único de ahusamiento. Caso de estudio: Finca el GuásimoRiaño Melo, Orlando; Cantillo Higuera, Edgard ErnestoPinus patula is a tree species widely used in our country, but the models that are currently used to estimate its usable volume are costly and segmented and have acceptable accuracy. Therefore, this research proposal focuses on proposing a polynomial taper function of the trunk for this species, so that reliable estimates of commercial or total volume can be made. In order to propose the unique polynomial function, measurements of total height and trunk diameters were made at different heights for trees of different ages in El Guásimo plantation. The sampling was performed in circular plots of 500 m2 each, located randomly in different sites of the plantation. After obtaining satisfactory preliminary results of the volume estimation, the model was compared with felled, chopped and cubed individuals by the Smalian method (1806). The goodness-of-fit test of the polynomial model proposed was performed on statistics such as correlation and Lin's concordance coefficients. Then, the height curve was modeled and the expressions obtained were extended to all sample trees in order to estimate the volume of standing timber from the plantation. The model generated had solid statistical and mathematical support in the selection of plots and individuals, as well as in the total description of the trunk profile through a unique polynomial function and the calculation of the value of the concordance between the pair of methods which estimated the volume of the same sample. The results obtained for the taper profile, the interchangeability of the methods for the estimation of the volume, the height curves and the calculation of the wood stock of the plantation were very favorable in comparison with those reported in the literature. It is expected that the models generated in this study will be the basis for a method that improves the accuracy in volume estimation in forest inventories and that can be used in other regions and not only in the study site, making the corresponding adjustments.Ítem Estudio del reductor de tipo centroide usando aproximación por polinomios de BernsteinPiza Rodríguez, Pedro Iván; Serrano D., J. Humberto; Salazar M., OmarThis monograph aims to study the centroid type reducer for diffuse type 2 systems using Bernstein polynomials. This is possible because most methods are iterative and therefore the execution times are high for real-time applications. The Cl and Cr Constants are two constants that represent the ends of a diffuse set type 1 that are born from all the centroids embedded in a diffuse set type 2, thanks to these constants it is possible to make a reduction by centroid method. This work uses the technique of approximating 2 monotonous functions using Bernstein approximations, later obtaining the zeros of these functions which will represent the values of Cl and Cr.Ítem La motivación y las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (geogebra®) en el estudio del objeto matemático función cuadrática en estudiantes de grado noveno del instituto San Ignacio De LoyolaRodríguez Mendoza, Ramiro; Suárez, Oscar JardeyThe present research work, entitled: Motivation and Information and Communication Technologies (GeoGebra®) in the study of the mathematical object quadratic function in ninth grade students of the San Ignacio de Loyola Institute, shows and describes the underlying variables before and after the application of a didactic sequence supported by technology. The research is of a mixed type, involving quantitative and qualitative material; statistical analyses supported by purely qualitative approaches. The instrument used to determine motivation is called the CEAP-48 test proposed by Barca et al. (2005) under a Likert scale. A semi-structured interview with a research focus group is taken into account. Within the underlying variables after the application of the didactic sequence we have: learning and its usefulness; examination as motivation; qualification or mark as motivation; intrinsic motivation and confidence; motivation and study. The test, besides showing the academic motivation, allows identifying attributional variables to the academic success. After the application of the didactic sequence the following categories of mentioned attributional style were identified: school performance and luck, effort and success, capacity and effort, grades and facility by the type of intelligence. Among the conclusions, it is important to emphasize that the test is part of the student's extrinsic academic motivation, as well as a negative influence on his or her emotions regardless of whether or not technology is present. The present investigation had didactic, pedagogical and mathematical limitations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.Ítem Polinomios cuadráticos que generan primosRodríguez Guzmán, Fanny Paola; Ochoa Castillo, Carlos OrlandoIn this paper we study quadratic polynomials that generate consecutive prime numbers. For this purpose, different characteristics and properties that satisfy these polynomials are analyzed; taking as main polynomial, the Euler polynomial.Ítem Polinomios ortogonales de Jacobi-SobolevRios García, Nick Daniel; Mora Valbuena, Luis OriolThis work is a study of the basic theory to understand the first three sections Article " orthogonal polynomials Jacobi - Sobolev " . That article starts showing some results of the theory of the classical Jacobi polynomials ; after starting from an inner product of Sobolev type and using the results of the classical Jacobi polynomials obtains a formula for Jacobi polynomials Sobolev in terms of the classical Jacobi polynomials and their first and second derivatives bringing its symmetry property follows .Ítem Sobre los polinomios de Chebyshev y su generalizaciónVargas Duanca, Juan Carlos; Mora Valbuena, Luis OriolThe document seeks to cement the basic theories that require an understanding of Clemente Cesarano's article, Generalized Chebyshev polynomials, and with these understand the relationship between Chebyshev polynomials and Gegenbauer polynomials.Ítem Sobre operador escalera y ecuación diferencial asociada a los polinomios clásicosQuiroga Vargas, Eyder David; Mora Valbuena, Luis OriolA theoretical synthesis is made in some areas of the mathematical views during the undergraduate to have a conceptual base of tools necessary for the monograph development. Following this, a compendium of the general theory of orthogonal polynomials is presented, the relationship of three terms is demonstrated, the Christoffel-Darboux formula is demonstrated, the Kernel of polynomials are presented, and the families of orthogonal polynomials of Hermite and Laguerre are presented in detail. Finally, the definition of the Fredholm determinant is presented, the integral operator defined by the subtraction of two operators is presented, the differential recurrence relationship satisfied by the orthogonal polynomial systems with respect to a weight function under certain integration criteria is demonstrated, deduce two operators called creation and annihilation, the relationship between these two operators, the application of these operators in the Hermite orthogonal polynomials and deduce the second order differential equation satisfied by the orthogonal polynomial systems.Ítem Sobre polinomios ortogonales en la recta real correspondientes a una sucesión encadenada perturbadaBarbosa David, Edisson Ricardo; Mora Valbuena, Luis OriolThe monograph based on an article dealing with chain sequences and its perturbed, also points out that lately these sequences have played an important role in the characterization of orthogonal polynomials both the real line and the unitary circle.Ítem Sobre raíces de polinomios ortogonalesOspina Castellanos, Stefany Tatiana; Mora Valbuena, Luis OriolThis work is a study on the characteristics of the roots of orthogonal polynomials under a measure. In the first chapter a theoretical synthesis of orthogonal polynomials and some elements of measurement theory is carried out. The next chapter develops the basic theorems of polynomial roots, as well as Markov's theorem for orthogonal polynomials, which ends with the demonstration of three theorems that describe the entanglement of roots.
