Design and construction of plants and studies of the water source that feeds the plants are standardized by a group of regulations in Colombia to ensure the optimal design of the same as for the quality of water resources delivered to the beneficiary population avoiding bad investments, poorly structured projects or poor quality of both the product and the customer service; generated by both the poor design choice of font. An explanation of the operating principle was generated, based on illustrations and/or self-made diagrams, likewise, the correct operation and maintenance of these units was established based on different bibliographic references, presenting the information graphically. A guide was obtained that describes in a simple way each part of the operation of these units, specifying the periodicity of these procedures, providing synthetic and organized information of the processes that encompass a compact water treatment system in order for an operator to be able to execute these activities in a pertinent manner avoiding the deterioration of the compact treatment plants.
