Abstract

The activities carried out in the Filtra H2O company had the purpose of developing a maintenance and operation manual for compact residual and potable water treatment plants, defining the treatment units to which the instructions would be carried out; The information provided by the company was compared with the existing bibliography in order to ensure consistency with the treatment systems offered by the entity, taking into account their operation and maintenance particularities. An explanation of the operating principle was generated, based on illustrations and/or self-made diagrams, likewise, the correct operation and maintenance of these units was established based on different bibliographic references, presenting the information graphically. A guide was obtained that describes in a simple way each part of the operation of these units, specifying the periodicity of these procedures, providing synthetic and organized information of the processes that encompass a compact water treatment system in order for an operator to be able to execute these activities in a pertinent manner avoiding the deterioration of the compact treatment plants.
