Bogotá menos miedo: construcción de un nuevo formato digital de noticias con contenidos de la capital como ciudad educadora

The city is not just fear. The city is a large settlement where humans have lived for centuries. Surrounded by complex phenomena, there is no single concept that defines it, since it can be understood from the historical, the social, the psychological and even the economic standpoint. It is the meeting place for those who inhabit it and contains a conglomerate of daily experiences. However, the television newscasts in Colombia, especially those with national coverage, have been covering the news of Bogotá; focusing on events that lead to the construction of fear as an expression of daily life. These are being disseminated as stories based on serious social problems: murders, robberies, accidents that grow more frequently when the metropolis grows dark. "Bogotá Menos Miedo" is a digital news program that offers a different perspective of the capital than fear, through a conceptual proposal that shows the educational face that the city offers us. It is about citizens having another perspective that leads them to create their own concept of the capital.
