Resumen
This work is focused on the determination of minimum diameter cutting limit (MDCL) for 11 woody species from tropical moist forest located inside San Lucas Serranía, specifically in Muribá sidewalk of Cantagallo, Bolívar; fitting the diameter distributions of the species with probability distributions in order to simulate the distributions of diameter frecuencies of each species, starting from the measument and inventory of these ones inside an area of 374,6 hectares and projecting their yields of each ones of them according to the dendrometric variables measured in the forest inventory. The species studied in this work are: Amargo (Dipteryx sp.), algarrobo (Hymenaea courbaril L.), canelo (Ocotea sp.), caña brava (Crudia glaberrima (Steud.) J.F. Macbr), coco picho (Couratari guianensis Aubl.), lecheperra (Pseudolmedia laevigata Trécul), perillo (Brosimum cf. guianense (Aubl.) Huber ex Ducke), sande (Brosimum utile (Kunth) Oken), sangretoro (Virola sebifera Aubl.), sapán (Clathrotropis cf. brunnea Amshoff) and virola (Virola cf. loretensis A.C. Sm.).
