Resumen
the purpose of this study is to evaluate the different alternatives that can be identified for the control systems of atmospheric emissions, which allow the reduction of the Particulate Material and the improvement of the environmental management of the artisan and mechanized productive units of the brick industry of Bogota, which use in their baking process intermittent type ovens. For this purpose, information was collected from primary and secondary sources. First, a diagnosis was made of the main variables of the context of the brick sector in the country and in Bogotá; second, a technical study was prepared to provide information on methods and devices for controlling atmospheric emissions, which made it possible to identify the most viable options for the chosen sector; In addition, it allowed to determine the possible amount of the investments and the pertinent operation costs, added to the previous, it determined the requirements of the identified alternatives; in the same way; it was possible to carry out an economic study that identified and ordered all the items of investments that were deduced from the identified alternatives; finally it was determined the gas washer type Venturi, as the best option for the control of atmospheric emissions of Particulate Material.
