dc.descriptionLa propuesta de investigación que se pretende abordar en este documento se desarrolla en torno al tema concerniente a la lectura iconográfica como una estrategia pedagógica basada en el arte cuya finalidad es la de estimular la compresión lectora en los niños y niñas del jardín infantil de Corpohunza. Para lograr este propósito será necesario hacer uso de las diversas expresiones artísticas como método sui generis para desarrollar, fomentar y fortalecer las habilidades cognitivas de los niños. Asimismo, la presente investigación pretende mostrar que las imágenes en su narración, interpretación y descripción son una herramienta indispensable para el mejoramiento de las competencias comunicativas en primera infancia.
