Ítem Estudio para la estructuración técnica e implementación del sistema de bicicletas públicas compartidas de la Universidad Distrital "Biciverdeud" de uso exclusivo de la comunidad universitaria en el tramo comprendido entre la Facultad de Ingeniería y la Sede de la MacarenaCardozo Serrato, Lady Marcela; Sarmiento García, Pedro Julio; Ramírez Ramos, Carlos GermánThe mobility system is an element of integration and connectivity between the headquarters of the District University and the city. Recognizing the importance of this component for the university community, it is proposed to implement a system of public shared bicycles that will consist of a corridor with which to guarantee a sustainable and effective trip, allowing the user to have a good level of mobility, access to educational services offered by the University, in particular those offered at the main offices, Macarena A and B. This also has a positive impact since it not only benefits the university community, but by using the public bicycle system, pollution is reduced, sports are carried out, stress levels are reduced, people become more active, contribute to the environment since noise and emission of gases does not occur, or is significantly lower. In transport planning the use of discrete choice models has been common, this project proposes a model with predictive purposes, to calculate the potential percentage of users of the shared public bicycle system "BiciVerdeUD", and with it, calculate the amount of bicycles that would meet the maximum demand of university students, at peak hours, as an environmentally sustainable alternative transportation, presenting a methodology that will be applied in the study area, located in the city of Bogotá.Ítem Factores que afectan el uso de la bicicleta como medio de transporte por parte de las estudiantes de la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de CaldasRamírez Zamudio, Sonia Rocío; Martínez Monroy, Sorayda AstridThis correlational study has as objective to know the main factors about the use of the bicycle by the students of District University that affects its use, such as obstacles or motivations. To begin with, the analysis is based on a general outlook of a historical review about the use of the bicycle in women, as well as a context of the national and international condition for this alternative in cities. This is made with the purpose of identifying the conditions that Bogotá offers for the urban bicycling, especially women. Subsequently, the data gathering is done through surveys to active degree students. In here, they are questioning about the use of the bicycle as a mobility alternative. This information is analyzed in a quantitative and qualitative way, in order to establish general aspects of mobility and to compare perceptions between women who already use the bicycle as a transport mode and those who do not use it. This research has identified that for women, there are still subjective impediments related to fear and concern due to lack of security, road infrastructure security, accident rate, harassment on the street and the behavior of others road actors in terms of citizen culture. It is necessary to keep in mind the female point of view with the purpose of generating politics based on inclusion, respect and security, just as conditions for a friendly environment for those who daily pedal around the city and those who are interested in do it or at least try it.Ítem Influencia de la participación ciudadana en las políticas y gestión pública de movilidad sostenible en bicicleta en Bogotá : caso de estudio Consejos Locales de la Bicicleta.Tamayo Montenegro, Nidia Marcela; Prieto Rodríguez, Germán AlfonsoLike many other cities around the world, getting around Bogota has become a torturous routine for most of its citizens since a large part of the population has opted for a means of motorized transportation to navigate the city. As far as alternative modes of urban travel, many options are inefficient and, in many cases, non-existent. However, the use of bicycles as a personal means of travel has been increasing in Colombia’s capital, thanks to the advantages and benefits one sees in terms of speed, cost effectiveness, health, and a positive environmental impact. Current research proposes that a methodical structure is necessary to analyze the political and public management of bicycles as a transformative social tool and their relation to citizen participation in hopes to achieve a dynamic and more sustainable mobility. This study will be carried out based on a qualitative analysis of the main experiences of citizen participation, the antecedent and regulatory framework of the Local Bicycle Councils, and in the promotion of constructing a sustainable means of mobility in the city of Bogota.Ítem Prácticas de transporte en bicicleta y estrategias educomunicativas en la Localidad de TeusaquilloPrieto Hernández, Dilia Lucia; Riveros Solórzano, Hernán JavierThis research characterized the appropriation processes of bicycle transport practices based on the imaginaries of the population between 25 and 44 years old from Teusaquillo locality, based on a critical analysis of daily life, using the Participatory Action Research (IAP), which was developed through the collective Biciescuela Bogotá citizen in articulation with other groups at the locality. The research showed that the practice of the bicycle is an exercise in the construction of a language that allows other ways of appropriating the city; in the absence of a shared vision of inhabiting the city from the practices, it is necessary an educommunicative strategy articulated from the citizen action that invites to the coexistence.
