Although its causes are unknown, it has been determined that one of the factors that can lead to the occurrence of the syndrome is that the infant sleeps in a prone or side position. In this work, an algorithm is proposed that allows determine from the processing of thermal images and without the constant need by human supervision, if the child has acquired a risky position for their health during sleep. This algorithm has been developed using basic image processing tools such as morphology, thresholding and histogram equalization, together with a clustering algorithm. This allows them to perform different applications inside a room through a Brain Computer Interface (BCI) based on biological signals. Electroencephalographic (EEG) signals are used as control signals. The applications in the room are: light control,bed inclination and requesting assistance with a buzzer. These signals are captured using the Ultracortex Mark IV acquisition system of the company OpenBCI connected to self-developed software. The gestures defined to perform the analysis are: left eye blink, right eye blink, eyebrow raise and no action. The data is filtered in the alpha band (8-13)Hz and is used to train an artificial intelligence model based on one-dimensional convolutional neural networks. For each gesture a control signal is generated and sent via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to an embedded system in charge of the room prototype functions. At the first phase, the volunteers did not have any motor disabilities. The average accuracy value for eye blinking was 80\% and for eyebrow raising 85\% in the training model. Real-time classification showed an accuracy of 78.75\% using five-second length windows.Ítem Detección y tratamiento de las señales EEG que permitan definir tareas de un drone.Villegas Isasa, Ivan Daniel; Perdomo Charry, Cesar AndreyThis document shows the process to control a drone with EEG signals, using an array of dry electrodes around the motor cortex and in the forehead area, following the 10/20 distribution and filtering the signals in the alpha rhythm. A database is set up with 15 people, of different genders and ages, to train three different computational intelligence paradigms (k-nearest neighbors, random forests, and convolutional neural networks) with the inputs passed through different preprocessing after filtering (without preprocessing, normalization, standardization, scaling between fixed values) with the help of python "scikit" learn. A GUI is made to help control the drone using "pyParrot" in python.It is obtained that the best classification is with the convolutional neural network with the inputs are preprocessing with which you can give orders to the drone in real time.Ítem Diseño de una estación meteorológica modular que permite conexión remota y gestión de datos vía internetCruz Bernal, Andrés Felipe; Perdomo Charry, Cesar AndreyIn this work, the design and implementation of a prototype of a low-cost modular meteorological station was carried out, which allows the measurement of meteorological variables using suitable sensors according to the specifications found in the research. The station has a solar charging system that gives it autonomy to not depend on an electrical outlet. The measured data are presented through a web application hosted on a server of the Francisco José de Caldas District University. The web application is adaptable to any mobile device or computer and with public access. An analysis of the obtained data was included comparing them against the data obtained by the use of a commercial meteorological station. When analyzing the routines performed by a patient, two of these actors, electromyography (EMG) and mechanomiography (MMG) are identified and chosen and from these the process of designing the biometric acquisition cards is started. Once captured, digital signal processing starts and with the result of this, the ranges in which the different exercises performed during the therapy session are selected. With these defined ranges, each movement performed during a session is easily identified and transmitted wirelessly to the receiver. An integrated prototype system for a database, an identification system using NFC technology and a web platform, is designed and implemented, which seeks to identify the relevant characteristics of an oil palm crop, implementing a smartphone with storage routines and easy operation for the user. This system not only allows the characterization of palm crops but also the control of the work of the employees, thus achieving an administration, recognition and management in the crop.Ítem Extracción de contexto geográfico a partir de NLP para información de tránsito en redes socialesRobles Mondragón, Duvan Alexander; Perdomo Charry, Cesar AndreyLittle has been said about the retrieval of spatial information from text, particularly because the term "spatial information" is associated with geometries in the form of vectors or raster-type information that express different variables or phenomena accompanied by coordinates, despite this, the extraction of information in text is presented as one of the most promising advances thanks to natural language processing (NLP) and in this case it is outlined as a new field of action complementary to spatial analysis, trying to extract a specific event that happens in space and embodied in a text. The main source of text, for this research, are those shared in a collaboration network such as twitter. The extracted events are those that are found or refer to the road network and that arise in a recurring or random way, the latter, Chance, the most difficult to manage in any city that must monitor the traffic of road actors under a network of sensors that try to see the congestion of the roads and road incidents. That in the aerodromes that have runway lighting systems, there must be a control and monitoring system for the illuminated visual aids, in said airfield, for the proper functioning of the same. And finally that they are responsible for the damages that are caused by the operation of the aerodromes and the provision of the aforementioned services. Taking into account that a monitoring and control system can provide an airport with an improvement in the efficiency of the air traffic controller by providing adjustments in each lighting system, in a faster and more precise way. In addition to improving the security for the different aircraft since any change in these systems is of vital importance for the recognition of the runway and a correct descent to it, since this system allows the air traffic controller and the pilot to make relevant decisions for each of the required operations and / or conditions that may arise. In this way, the ENTELCOM company, requires a monitoring and control system for the runway lights of the La Mina and Puerto Bolívar airports, the main objective of this degree project is to carry out said system in such a way that it meets the different needs present at airports.
