Ítem Diseño de una red óptica para transporte de datos desde Bogotá a QuibdóRamírez Ardila, Camilo; Zapata González, Luis Fernando; Gómez Paredes, Juan Carlos; Gómez Paredes, Juan Carlos [0000-0001-5000-8121]- The proposal defines the route of a point-to-point optical network for pure carrier transport with single-mode fiber optics between the cities of Bogotá and Quibdo, with the objective of reducing the technological gap in this region of the Colombian Pacific. Initially, the Google Maps web application is used to visualize the sections that make up the route of the optical cable. A single-mode optical fiber is implemented, which will be extended using the existing infrastructure. Once the fiber laying route and the choice of cables have been consolidated, the power and bandwidth budget will be calculated, which is planned for a distance of 580 km at a transfer rate of 10Gbps. The analysis and choice of the optical devices (amplifier, transmitter) used in this design, that provide us with the data to perform the budget calculations. Finally, using the data obtained, the simulation of the fiber link and the respective analysis of the BER obtained and its respective eye diagram, corroborating the theoretical approach.Ítem Propuesta de metodología para realización de app Android para manejo de recurso humano, basado en “Scrum & xp”Urian Laverde, Luis Eduardo; Alba Malagon, Luis Angel; Gomez Paredes, Juan CarlosBy definition, a project consists of a collaborative effort in order to achieve the creation of a product or service or other result. Monthly load profiles and monthly average hourly profile by day of the week are shown from regular time data measured in less than an hour. Furthermore, the process used to apply this technique is described through Python code and Hadoop use. The following is the success story of Meraki technology, being one of the main representatives and leader in the market for cloud managed networks. Subsequently, a parallel is made between traditional administration and advanced network management, mentioning pertinent recommendations on how to change the paradigm. In developing this paper, we will examine the expected future next-generation WLAN scenarios that justify the implementation of this new amendment to the IEEE 802.11 family. Subsequently, the new technical characteristics included in the IEEE 802.11ax amendment at the physical layer and MAC level will be described.
