Actualmente los métodos de medición de masa grasa y masa libre de grasa son bastante costosos y los que no lo son, utilizan aproximaciones lineales que presentan alta variabilidad por la dependencia que tienen de factores como hábitos alimenticios, cantidad de ejercicio realizado, horarios de alimentación, que varían de un paciente a otro. Las normas de seguridad de funcionamiento de los sistemas de microondas han alcanzado gran rigidez. Por ejemplo se utiliza un 99.98% de confiabilidad. Finally, an analysis was made about the technologies used and tools used more often divided into software tools (programs and applications) and hardware (sensors, processors actuators, computer equipment, robots, etc).Ítem Análisis del Amplificador Óptico de Semiconductor y su Aplicación a Sistemas de Regeneración de Onda 2RPerilla Martinez, Victor Hugo; Puerto Leguizamón, Gustavo AdolfoThis undergraduate dissertation work deals with the study of the Semiconductor Optical Amplifier and its configurations to carry out wave regeneration in amplitude and shape of a digital signal. To this aim, we have analyzed the basic operating principles of the amplifier, the physical structures that have been proposed for its construction and mathematical modeling based on material analysis following its size and construction. Mathematical modeling varies if this device is studied as a bulk element, or if considered a device formed by quantum wells or multiple quantum wells. A study of different configurations based on Semiconductor Optical Amplifier allowing wave regeneration in both amplitude and shape was performed. This is known as 2R regeneration of digital signal. Three configurations are mainly analyzed. The first analyzed configuration is known as Mach Zehnder interferometer (MZI).The second configuration uses an element called saturable absorber, in particular an electro-absorber used in cascade with the Semiconductor Optical Amplifier. The third and final configuration is based on cross-gain compression (XGC) and uses cross-gain-modulation (XGM). Finally one of the configurations was chosen to be implemented in a computer simulation tool; in this case the settings used XGC due to their characteristics. Also, a Semiconductor Optical Amplifier of multiple quantum wells was used which was adjusted in such a way that meets certain parameters specified in data sheets. By using this configuration a regenerated signal was obtained and a subsequent analysis of the results was made describing the obtained relevant findings.Ítem Clasificación y conteo de tráfico en video mediante un paradigma de inteligencia computacionalBejarano Medellín, Sebastián Leonardo; Sierra Lozano, William Eduardo; Perdomo Charry, Cesar AndreyIn this project, an algorithm for traffic classification and counting was built using neural networks as classification model, these networks were trained using backpropagation with stochastic gradient descent and a simple genetic algorithm. The types of networks used for this were convolutional and feedforward, this last one with the idea of not leaving behind the feature engineering that might be a challenge in problems where there are not deep learning models that get the features for themselves. Once these models were obtained, the algorithm was built with the purpose of classifying a region of interest which was taken through background substraction algorithms and then adding an element which will track the vehicle through the whole window til it reaches a limit where it will be counted and added to de database having in mind characteristics as color, type of vehicle and speed estimation. The type of vehicle was classified using a neural network and the color was chosen using an euclidean distance with some base colors, finally, the speed estimation was done using the average speed formula. The final evaluation of the algorithm showed a max error of 10.6% in a test video of more than 2000 vehicles, as a final factor, a web platform was developed in order to deploy it in a device as aditional to the project as this isn't taken into account by the objectives of this, the device will be described in its own chapter.Ítem Propuesta de notación gráfica para el modelo orientado a documentos de MongoDBPoveda Galvis, Juan Pablo; Pava Díaz, Roberto AlbeiroMongoDB is the name of most currently used object-oriented database model, however, it doesn't yet exists a graphical notation that allow develop schemas using diagrams. In the present work, an electronic device was developed that could objectively and explicitly monitor rehabilitation for patients with reduced mobility in the upper limbs.Ítem Estudio de los modelos de propagación de ondas de radio(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Hidalgo, Erica Andrea; Gómez, Juan CarlosLos sistemas de radio, como los demás sistemas de comunicaciones, han evolucionado a través del tiempo, esta evolución ha implicado la utilización de modernas tecnologías de transmisión con medias y altas velocidades. Esta nueva tecnología junto a la necesidad de utilizar los recursos de la forma más eficiente, ha planteado nuevos problemas de cálculo que ha hecho necesario el surgimiento de una serie de herramientas con el fin de resolver dichos problemas. Inicialmente el cálculo para la planificación de los sistemas de radiocomunicación se efectuaba de forma manual pero ha evolucionado hasta la utilización de herramientas informáticas que utilizan mapas digitales de terreno y la moderna Teoría Geométrica de la difracción. La metodología del cálculo de la perdida básica de propagación es de naturaleza fundamentalmente empírica. Anteriormente, fueron utilizados los ábacos de Bullington, basados en modelos sencillos de difracción. Los modelos para la propagación en medios urbanos eran escasos, y fue Young quien propuso un modelo de propagación basado en medidas efectuadas en New York. Este fue el inicio de realizar una serie de medidas y hacer ajuste de métodos empíricos a las mismas. Después de esto se propusieron curvas normalizadas de propagación, estas curvas fueron utilizadas inicialmente en el cálculo de cobertura de sistemas de radiodifusión y televisión. Derivadas de estas curvas se presentaron curvas de propagación para medios rurales y adaptados a las características del servicio móvil. As a result, a new generation scheme has taken a big boom in recent years: distributed generation. This scheme allows the inclusion of alternative sources in order to monopolize the power in distant places, or help to meet the high demand in cities with a large population. Based on the above, there are two modes of operation such as: the isolated mode and the mode interconnected to the electricity supply network, both modes suppose different control objectives, in the first the system functions as a voltage source which establishes the voltage and frequency reference, while in the second system it works as a current source which simply injects power into the network. In the present thesis the model and its test in simulation of a photovoltaic array connected to the network without a DC / DC converter, in order to deliver the maximum available power to the electrical grid, is done through the power network software PSIM . To do this, a dynamic model was established based on a small-signal representation of a three-phase inverter in a reference frame $dq$. This involved the design of a digital PLL in a synchronous reference frame in order to obtain the parameter $ (\ omega t) $ which is essential to establish a synchronism reference, once the synchronism was guaranteed the system was characterized with two loops control in order to regulate both the input voltage and the output current. The Instituto de Integración Cultural (IDIC) is an educational institution of Bogota that has a sports field for playing basketball and other sports, where sports held daily meetings for the formation of students but lacks a system smart to display the relevant information of what happens during a game of basketball dial, thus creating a place without the optimal conditions for a comprehensive sports competition. The fundamental idea of this project is to improve the quality conditions in the sports basketball court IDIC, implementing a wireless hoping for basketball practice, where the user responsible for keeping the team scores, enter the data to the board using an intelligent device with the Android operating system and Bluetooth on it.
