Resumen
Nowadays, the arts lab has become a practice defined by suggesting spaces of meeting around the experiment and uses collective production as a dynamic which expands alternatives around artistic creation. In this sense, the arts lab has achieved relevance in the context of contemporary artistic practices and frequently it has been institutionally validated as a place to establish interdisciplinary dialogues. This document proposes a series of reflections on the experiences emerging in two phases of an arts lab designed and invigorated by the participants, where different ways of interaction and experimentation are proposed, passing between the privileged experience and the sensitive experience. In the first phase of the arts lab, sound artifacts and interfaces are designed to configure a sound installation; the series of relations between subjects and objects that occur within the installation define the so-called functional machine. In the second phase, a group process is established around the audio compact cassette, a found object favoring other ways of interaction through dialogue and the symbolic value present in the memories and stories of its members, which determines what is known as the machine of presence.
