Resumen
This experiential report, "Leaving a Mark: Experiences in Rural Schools," focuses primarily on the characterization, contextualization, and identification of the issues in the environment of Margarita Bolívar, specifically at the Causado school, a school facing several challenges in a rural setting, with a multigrade classroom. Through an internship carried out in this area, the aim was to identify the existing issues, such as lack of resources, poor infrastructure, and weather conditions. It was identified that the strategies and activities recommended by the Ministry of National Education, through the 'Viva la Escuela' program, could have a significant impact on the academic, socio-emotional, and community aspects for students in a multigrade classroom, all while considering reasonable adjustments based on the community context. During the internship, various activities with a positive impact were carried out, leading to a noticeable increase in interest, as well as improvements in writing, reading, and numerical problem-solving skills, along with favorable interactions among students from different grades. This work also highlights the importance of community and family support in the educational process of students. This report is organized into thirteen sections, ranging from the characterization of the context to a reflection on the experience. This study inherently raises awareness about the importance of equitable and fair education for all students.
