Resumen
This research is located in the area of objectification theory and multiplicative structure. As a general objective, it identifies the processes of objectification in seventh grade students: A learning experience associated to the multiplicative structure in Mathematics, using the qualitative and semiotic method (Radford & Sabena, 2015), based on a multimodal approach as an interpretative process of inquiry, in which the study of a natural situation is examined and conducted. The theoretical framework was constituted by the quotes from authors such as Radford (2008 - 2018), Vergel (2018), Pantano (2014), Carpio (2013), Lerman (2006), Morse (2005), Escolano (2001), Lamon (2012), et al. They provide a valuable contribution to the theoretical framework of the study, clarifying contents with regards the theory of objectification and multiplicative processes in seventh grade students based on problem solving.
