Resumen
According to the regulations of the (International Labor Organization, n.d.). according to its regulations defines Occupational Safety and Health as “Discipline that deals with the prevention of work-related injuries and diseases, and the protection and promotion of workers' health”, following the comprehensive, social and cultural approach established by Decree 1072 of 2015 in Colombia. In addition, it highlights the global problem of physical inactivity, obesity and their impacts on public health, especially in the Americas and Colombia. Therefore, the Colombian Ministry of the Interior is presented as a fundamental entity in the guarantee of Human Rights and compliance with International Humanitarian Law. It emphasizes the importance of the Ministry being an example in respecting and complying with standards to ensure the well-being of its collaborators. In this context, the Occupational Health and Safety Group has developed standards and manuals to implement the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. An internship is mentioned with the function of improving the quality of life of employees, especially those with sedentary administrative functions. Highlighting the health risks associated with the lack of physical activity, such as cardiovascular diseases and musculoskeletal problems. The Human Resources Department implements the Healthy Lifestyles and Healthy Work Environment Manual, supported by cardiovascular epidemiological surveillance programs, seeking to improve the quality of life of employees and contribute to the OSH Group's motto: “the best place to work”. Due to this, the purpose of the internship degree work is to “implement activities that encourage the adoption of healthy lifestyles and contribute to the reduction of cardiovascular diseases among the collaborators of the Ministry of the Interior. It is aligned with the Cardiovascular Healthy Living Program and the Healthy Lifestyles and Healthy Work Environments Manual established by the entity's Occupational Health and Safety Group (OSH).” Thus, the results of this work are expected to improve working conditions in terms of regulations and norms in the OSH area, implementing the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. The aim is to create a favorable working environment, promoting productivity and mitigating cardiovascular risks and diseases. In addition, it is intended to provide innovative proposals in the field of Occupational Safety and Health, specifically focused on healthy lifestyles and physical activity, using academic training in Health Sciences, Occupational Safety and Health, Management,
