Resumen
This degree work is based on the participation and recognition of children as critical subjects in social, political and historically marginalized contexts. This research began in two different contexts but with a common characteristic: its geographical area is peripheral in the city of Bogotá, and its social and cultural dynamics converge in the concept of the popular. In the first place, the process began with the Los Leones group of the Hogares Club Michín Foundation for the afternoon shift in the town of Diana Turbay during the course of 2019. Along with this, the Cerro Norte neighborhood was added through the articulation of community work with the 'Reciclando Paz' collective during the course of 2020 and under the pandemic caused by COVID-19. The research project was carried out with a total of 15 to 25 children and adolescents between 3 and 17 years of age whose needs are based on the lack of visibility and recognition as social and participatory subjects, taking into account, the narratives and inquiries proposed by children about the normalized violent contexts of everyday life.
