Resumen
This document evidences the result of an investigative process carried out with ninth grade youth from the La Concepción IED school in Bosa, who through their voice expressed their feelings, experiences, desires and realities about reading, writing and orality as essential communication skills not only within the classroom space but also in everyday contexts that involve technology as a tool for expression and communication. The purpose of this study with a qualitative approach was to establish a space for dialogue through semi-structured interviews and co-creation, workshops with which information was collected that was subsequently, transcribed, categorized, analyzed and interpreted to identify instituted imaginaries about reading, writing and communication orality as skills to respond to academic and work demands; In addition, findings were made that allowed us to understand that young people use communication skills in different ways, due to the constant use of technological tools that have not yet been efficiently implemented in the pedagogical practices of teachers.
