Propuesta de mejora de la programación de la producción basada en métodos cuantitativos en la empresa Café Semilla S.A.S en Bogotá D.C.

Abstract

An improvement proposal for the scheduling of Café Semilla S.A.S. was made; the scheduling model of the production system is: F_m |fmls,s_(i,k),t_(i,j,k),prmu,batch,day|C_max, the measures made in the company were taken as parameters of this model. The times of 11 real sequences of production were measured. A hybrid algorithm was written in Visual Basic for Excel to find C_max because it’s the only software that the company has in which the algorithm can be written. After applying the algorithm an average decrease was found in C_max of 16,45%. The Excel file with the algorithm was given to the company so that, if they decide so, they can continue making the scheduling based on the results of the algorithm, and in this manner improve the scheduling via a reduction in C_max.
