Resumen
This project's horizon of discussion is the Social Sciences Curriculum in Colombia and its recent transformations; For this, the analysis of the curricular guidelines issued by the Ministerio de Educación Nacional (MEN) between the years 2002 - 2016 is proposed. The intention is to deepen the understanding of the elements, relationships, and possible curricular effects that are proposed in the educational system Colombian, as a consequence of the changes proposed for the study plans of the Social Sciences area. The way in which the object to be investigated is approached is through the study of concepts such as Recontextualization, Nation State and Social Sciences Curriculum. Taking into account the historicity and the variables that intervene in the process of formation of the curriculum as a device in the Colombian educational system. To finally offer the reader an analysis of the curriculum in Social Sciences as a social construction mediated by the political field and the dynamics of the pedagogical recontextualization process.
