Propuesta de mejoras operativas al proceso de cimentación aplicando Análisis Envolvente de Datos (DEA) en la empresa Kotter Ingeniería y Cimentaciones S.A.S.

Abstract

DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) is a relatively new methodology in the country, but it is already used and implemented in different sectors such as the manufacturing industry, the coffee sector, hospitals and the construction sector, where it is considered one of the most important tools when making any type of decision. In order to obtain the measurement of the technical efficiency relative to the growth and request of the company Kotter Ingeniería y Cimentaciones SAS, DEA is applied to the special foundation projects developed by the company in the country during the year 2020, since , these works have the characteristics and qualities necessary to carry out the study and thus evaluate and improve the efficiency of their production units for the future. This is how the special foundation works that the company had during 2020 are identified throughout the Colombian territory, the inputs and outputs of the executed special foundation projects are characterized, information with which it will be possible to model and thus give a real vision of the current execution of the company. When analyzing the management management that has been given to the company, it can be concluded that good results have been obtained, but at the same time significant losses are observed in terms of inventory and project development times. When requesting information on these processes, there are no real values ​​of the efficiency that was maintained during the execution of each of the works. This complicates the actual development of each of the services offered because there is no feedback on the activities.
