Tutorial educativo para apoyar el aprendizaje de la herramienta de gestión de proyectos de software Jira orientado a un curso de Ingeniería de Software

Abstract

This project presents the development of an educational website aimed at supporting the learning of the Jira project management tool, targeted at Software Engineering students from the Technological Faculty of Universidad Distrital. The initiative addresses the lack of interactive and accessible educational resources in Spanish that enable students to effectively use Jira for the completion of their graduation projects. The portal integrates videos, theoretical content, practical exercises, and assessments covering at least 80% of the critical Jira functions applied in software development environments. It also includes a database to manage users and collect information on the tutorial’s acceptance and usability through the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This resource seeks to strengthen digital skills, foster collaborative work, and optimize project management, reducing risks such as delays, incomplete or inefficient developments, and loss of professional opportunities, thus helping to bridge the gap between academic training and current labor market demands.
