Matematización de artesanías en el telar Kumihimo

Abstract

In this work we present the mathematization of artisan fabrics obtained through the round loom of Japanese origin called Kumihimo. Which is based on the study of the concept of braids and knots, through which some generalizations obtained from these are used. Establishing the identification of some properties of the real numbers that are the associative, commutative property; inverses and associated permutations. Sustained in the levels of Mathematization of Freudhental where conjectures and generalizations of braids and handles of round type are obtained with the loom to be used. Where processes are also described mathematization that are obtained empirically, which allows to visualize the hidden mathematics in this craft.
