In this work we present the mathematization of artisan fabrics obtained through the round loom of Japanese origin called Kumihimo. Which is based on the study of the concept of braids and knots, through which some generalizations obtained from these are used. Establishing the identification of some properties of the real numbers that are the associative, commutative property; inverses and associated permutations. Sustained in the levels of Mathematization of Freudhental where conjectures and generalizations of braids and handles of round type are obtained with the loom to be used. Where processes are also described mathematization that are obtained empirically, which allows to visualize the hidden mathematics in this craft.

En este trabajo se presenta la matematización de tejidos artesanales que se obtienen por medio del telar redondo de origen japonés llamado Kumihimo. El cual tiene como base el estudio del concepto de trenzas y enredos, a través del cual se emplean algunas generalizaciones obtenidas de estas. Estableciendo la identificación de algunas propiedades de los números reales, que son la propiedad asociativa, conmutativa, inversos y permutaciones. Sustentados en los niveles de matematización de Freudhental de donde se obtienen conjeturas y generalizaciones de trenzas y manillas de tipo redondo con el telar utilizado. Aquí además se describen procesos de la matematización que se obtienen de manera empírica, lo cual permite visualizar las matemáticas escondidas en esta artesanía.
