Resumen
This study evaluates the entrepreneurial trend of Industrial Engineering students at the Francisco José de Caldas District University during the 2025-1C academic period. Through a mixed approach, the GET2 Test was applied to a sample of 273 students distributed in different stages of the career, in order to analyze dimensions such as motivation, creativity, autonomy, risk-taking and locus of control. The results show that 89% of the students have a medium level of entrepreneurial tendency, which suggests the existence of a significant potential that has not yet been consolidated. It was identified that motivation and creativity decrease in the advanced semesters, while autonomy, risk-taking, and locus of control remain at intermediate levels. These findings reflect the need to strengthen pedagogical and institutional strategies that promote entrepreneurship throughout vocational training, through the creation of transversal chairs, support units and innovation environments that promote the consolidation of sustainable business projects.
