Resumen
The research carried out at the Nueva Esperanza I.E.D determined the difficulty of tenth grade students in appropriating orality in a formal context. Hence, after a reading of the context framed in a hermeneutic-interpretative paradigm, governed by the qualitative approach and under the design of action research, the importance of orality as an object of study and teaching was recognized. Therefore, the fundamental purpose of this research was to qualify orality through a planning, mediated by writing, from the expository text and oral exposition. Thus, the research was analyzed from three facts: the relationship between theory and practice of orality teaching, orality as a teaching object and the importance of formal orality in the classroom.
