Resumen
This project consisted of designing a hydraulic irrigation system that uses rainwater, taking the Mundo Aventura Park as a case study, with the aim of minimizing the use of drinking water and maximizing the rainy season. To achieve this, soil moisture sensors are used to help determine the precise moment for irrigation and to avoid over-irrigation, thereby increasing efficiency in water consumption. This method emphasizes the sustainability of the irrigation system by using natural resources while conserving water. The strategic positioning of the sensors at specific points in the terrain was defined to obtain accurate data on soil moisture. The design was integrated into a specific programming that would automatically determine when irrigation would occur based on the sensors and what was necessary or unnecessary, turning it into a technology that would only allow the activation of the system when the soil conditions required it, saving a lot in water usage.
