Acompañamiento al proceso para el fortalecimiento de la capacidad de manejo de riesgo de inundaciones en la cuenca del Río Negro

Abstract

The National Government requested a project to the Japanese Government to strengthen the National System of Risk Disaster Management (SNGRD) focused on flood as the type of disaster. Immediately after this, it was established a connection with the Agency for International Cooperation of Japan (JICA) and both parts agreed to implement on April 20th 2015 the PROJECT FOR THE STRENGTHENING OF RISK MANAGING OF FLOODS CAPACITY IN THE REPUBLIC OF COLOMBIA.One of the results expected in this project is the formulation of the Integral floods risk management plan in the Black River basin, incorporating prevention, mitigation, preparation and response measures. Immersed into this macro-project, there is the Evaluation of Flood Risk that seeks to strengthen a future Integrated Flood Managing Plan
