Resumen
The objective of the research allows to have as a final proposal suggestions and recommendations that will allow the institution to keep it on the radar for future improvement strategies in the daily search for educational quality and excellence, even more so in the formation of political, ethical and purposeful beings who will have the obligation to guide the educational, social and cultural policies of our nation. In this order of ideas, this research socializes the theoretical elements around to educational management, academic monitoring, educational practice and improvement plan institutional, under the reference processes of research, methodologies and data analysis to respond to the problem of relevance and effects that PMI has on a community education in order to continue working to strengthen excellence and quality in the Colombian education.
