Resumen
The rural territory of Bogota is inhabited by peasant and producer families who have dedicated their lives to work in the fields and to community work, creating leaders who consolidate spaces and processes to promote the culture, tradition and knowledge of the peasant community, being at the same time environmental and social protectors of the territory. For this research a formative strategy was designed and implemented, based on the methodology of Literary Experiences of the Colectivo Libros Buenos a la Vereda, based on the myth La Mapalina that belongs to the oral tradition of the peasant community of paramo and high mountain. For the development of this experience, the illustrated album book La Mapalina was used with an environmental education approach aimed at early childhood in the rural area of Usme (Bogotá), in order to contribute to the transmission and preservation of traditional stories to new generations.
