The present investigation asks: ¿do the proposals, the pedagogical practices carried out by teachers which are promoted in the Educational Policy for early childhood care and protection have correspondence in the District institutions that serve children and girls between the Zero (0) to five (5) years and 11 months old ?, which arises from the research project “Children and Girls of Bogotá D.C .: Between the Desire of the Educational Policy and the Reality of Institutional Practices: Social Garden Santa Rosa de la Vega, locality 19 Ciudad Bolívar”, of the CHILHOOD research group, of the Childhood, Culture and Development Specialization program, of the Faculty of Science and Education of the District University, and as an intern of the project, the main contribution of the research is to deepen how the teachers and teacher early childhood, of the Santa Rosa de la Vega Social Garden, in the locality of Ciudad Bolívar, carry out pedagogical practices which are promoted by early chilhood public policy Law 1804 august 2, 2016 “ Integral Development of early chilhood from Zero to Forever”, which in turn contain the educational policy Art. 5 Initial Education, where it guarantees the development of the human being though qualified care and attention and the empowerment of the development of children and girls from the gestation and children unders six year and it is there that the pedagogical and curricular guidelines for early childhood, are found which is the tool for teachers to carry out and apply their pedagogical practices and how they have correspondence in the District institutions, in this case the social gardens they server children and girls between zero(0) to five (5) year and 11 months old.
To analyze these pedagogical practices carried out by teachers and which are promoted by the educational policy in the first place, a qualitative methodological approach is applied, which allowed the collection of data on the knowledge, concepts and application of pedagogical practices and educational policies in early childhood and observe in the classroom if these pedagogical practices and educational policies carried out by teachers have correspondence in the social gardens of the District, The Santa Rosa de la Vega Social Garden, located in Ciudad Bolívar; allowed this methodology to define some subcategories that helped to answer the problem question that arose from the investigation.
