Resumen
This report, presented as a degree requirement in the internship modality under Agreement 012 of 2022 at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, presents the process, results, and reflections derived from participation in the Communication Co-laboratory LEA.co, an initiative linked to the LEA Improvement Plan (2024–2028) of the Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education. The experience was aimed at strengthening institutional communication through graphic, narrative, and pedagogical strategies designed to make program processes visible, facilitate access to information, and consolidate a collective identity both within and beyond the academic community. During the internship, active contributions were made to the creation of the communication strategy from its conceptual foundations, which involved defining its name, visual identity, sections, and aesthetic components, producing photographic images, and conducting a survey on students’ reading interests and habits. The main outcome of this process was the conceptualization and design of Equinoccio, a biannual publication conceived as an editorial manifesto that reflects the program’s values, dynamics, and projections, emphasizing its declarative and reflective nature as part of the continuous improvement process. From a critical, pedagogical, and communicative perspective, the publication aligns with the program’s formative and institutional goals, contributing to the documentation, visibility, and strengthening of its processes in accordance with self-assessment, continuous improvement, and High-Quality Accreditation standards. In this sense, the document highlights the collaborative decisions, tensions, adjustments, and learnings that enriched the construction of Equinoccio, while also justifying the pedagogical and formative value of this experience as a space for articulation between artistic creation, communication, and education.
