Análisis e identificación espacial y geoeconómica del riesgo en la zona de afectación directa por la construcción del relleno sanitario parque industrial Santo Domingo

Abstract

The following monograph aims to identify, characterize and measure the risk, through the study of threats and vulnerabilities due to the installation of the regional sanitary landfill project: Santo Domingo industrial park, which seeks to solve the situation of the municipal solid waste disposal of eight (8) municipalities of the north of Tolima in which they are (Armero-Guayabal, Casabianca, Mariquita, Villahermosa, Líbano, Palocabildo, Falan and Lérida). And where we will observe, through this study, the area of ​​direct influence, its economic, social, property and physical structure; in this way, analyze with direct data the proportion and magnitude of said risks in this area. The risks associated with environmental impact projects such as landfills have been identified, measured, and named in different scientific studies, mentioning the serious effects that the operation of this type of works entails for the health of the community and the surrounding ecosystem. This is how we will seek to determine the risks and the effects that would result in the municipality of Armero - Guayabal, which is the site where the sanitary landfill is to be installed.
