Resumen
This research aimed to characterize the factors that influenced the graduation time of students in the Industrial Production Management Technology (TGPI) program at the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. To achieve this, a literature review was conducted, analyzing key findings related to graduation time in recent studies. An information collection instrument was designed and applied, combining quantitative and qualitative data. This instrument, targeted at TGPI students, provided insights into their educational experiences, challenges faced, and their perception of different processes. The collected data were analyzed using statistical methods, identifying significant relationships. The findings enabled the characterization of critical factors affecting graduation time, emphasizing the influence of academic, socio-economic, family, personal, and institutional aspects. As a result, recommendations were formulated to optimize the graduation process and improve students' academic experience.
