Abstract

This internship report documents a process of developing basic mathematical skills with students from the CADIS Comprehensive Literacy course. The main objective focused on strengthening fundamental mathematical competencies through activities designed to address counting processes, numerical sequences, the characterization of pictorial and numerical sets, the identification of regularities and patterns, the understanding and application of spatial relationships, and the measurement of various magnitudes in a non-standardized way. Additionally, it highlights the results of the activities developed, which promoted meaningful learning through a practical approach. Various teaching resources were used to facilitate understanding by practicing these mathematical concepts in everyday life, strengthening collaborative work among the students in the course.
