Resumen
The following project defines and develops the prototype of an immersive environment based on augmented reality techniques, together with image recognition, gesture control devices and brain-computer interfaces as support to carry out fine motor therapy exercises. This study proposes the articulation of different technologies framed in an immersive environment in order to generate a new way of performing fine-motor therapy, based on the basic characteristics of traditional therapy; However, it is not proposed to leave behind this type of therapy, on the contrary, it seeks to generate collaborative work. To carry out the development of the immersive environment prototype, an ARSandbox is used as a solution to the augmented reality component. In addition, a classification method and an image processing technique are selected, with the purpose of comparing the result expressed by the child in the arena with the expected result. Finally, with the purpose of evaluating the impact of the developed environment, brain-computer interfaces are used, capturing emotional metrics such as interest, concentration, commitment, stress and relaxation during the development of fine-motor therapy, for further analysis.
