Resumen
In contemporary society, children participate in various ways that are not sufficient to evidence their role as social and political subjects. For this reason, the present research aims to promote children's participation, in which childhood can truly be and exist in the world. Precisely towards this guideline, the research focused on genuine participation and the fundamental contributions of Ecopedagogy and its relationship with the philosophy of Buen Vivir, situated in the urban space of the AmaneSer YMCA Home and in the reconstruction of the Community Garden "La Fortaleza", located in the Santa Fe neighborhood of Bogotá, Colombia. Despite the problems encountered in the context, it allowed for a different action in everyday life, and at the same time, a critical and proactive worldview
