"For several years, there has been growing interest i nthe trastment process of wastewater from the industrial, commercial and residential sectors" (Abarca; 2000). One of the greatest threats to water quality is chemical contamination due to thw presence of heavy metals, solvents, pesticides, etc. "Chemical compounds enter the quatic enviroment causing acute and chronic toxicity to aquatic organisms, accumulation in thje ecosistem, loss of habitats an dbiodiversity; as well as harmful effects on human health" (García, Ureña; 2016). The description of these different hybrid technologies is proposed, where we anaeobic, biological. UASB, memebrane, among others; dtermininig the equipment that can be most adapted an applied in the Colombian context. With the objective of generating an analysis of studies an d technologies, that allow the identification of adequate procedures to be implemented in our country, "lagoons are bodies of ater with a high retention period, which favors the development of a dynamic series of biological processee combined with enviorenmental interaction, such that the oxidation of organic matter into stable compounds that do not demand oxygen to the body os watre in which its content is discharged is achieved" (Abarca; 2000).
