Evaluación de la huella hídrica del río Teusacá, subcuenca de la cuenca alta del río Bogotá

Abstract

As an observation unit we have the Teusacá river, sub basin of the upper basin of the Bogotá river that is located in the upper part of the eastern cordillera and in the central sector of the Bogotá river basin; The water footprint was taken as the unit of analysis. In the work of degree presents the sectorial panorama of the hydric resource in function of the application of the water footprint in the subbasin of the Teusacá river, quantified the blue, green and gray water footprint, for four important economic sectors of the region, industrial, livestock and agricultural and domestic. Initially, the environmental baseline of the Teusacá river, sub-basin of the río Bogotá river, will be analyzed, the socio-environmental diagnosis of the same will be analyzed to capture the current situation considering all the environmental variables, to start the second part, the quantification of the water footprints blue, green, gray by productive sectors and the total of the sub-basin; finally, we will find the evaluation of the sustainability of these footprints and also the proposal of improvement strategies based on the results obtained, to give way to the conclusions and recommendations obtained from the previous results.
