Resumen
This research work addresses, in the first place, the context where circulation of information and science communication positioning is undergoing in this historical period. In addition, the different challenges of science dissemination are characterized, among which is the need to reform the way that science has been communicated since the public feels distant from it and the phenomenon of disinformation, which has permeated all communication channels with an emphasis on digital environments. The elements that contain science fiction narrative, which is beneficial to popularizing science while they establish a connection with the citizenship and allow to reflect about science-related topics from a critical and participative perspective, are shown below. The following section explains how the information from the film "Don't look up" and the YouTube video "Scammers of the pandemic" was collected and analyzed, where the problems caused by information disorders are evident. Then, the outcomes of the analyzed material are exposed, relating to the need for assertive scientific communication, the ease with which disinformation is absorbed by the public and the potential of science fiction to demonstrate the world built in the current crisis of social credibility in science. Finally, it concludes with proposals aimed at establishing the way that communication of science and the science fiction narrative can lead to a critical society that faces the phenomenon of disinformation, which wants to establish economic agendas, policies and beliefs that lead to severe damage to humanity, and thus allow progress towards the construction of a knowledge society.
